  1. Did he really feed Curtis cat food? 😳😝😂
  2. Thanks for the details! Yes, Reena and Justin make a lot more sense now.
  3. Gerry Gordon of TD followed the show's former headwriters, the Pollocks, to GH. Unfortunately, neither he nor they made much of an impact on GH - just as it was on the cusp of a daytime and cultural renaissance.
  4. Update - Scavino has been located and served: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/09/politics/scavino-subpoena-january-6-committee/index.html
  5. Either they don't understand or they just don't care.
  6. I enjoyed hearing about the Dante story in The Men of Loving Chat. Chris Marcantel had a good sense of humor about it.
  7. That's horrible. 😥
  8. Yes. They would have been better served to remember how well things worked when they accommodated Jacquie Courtney in 1970-71.
  9. I actually don't think that argument came up, but I might not be remembering everything. Stefan wanted Nik with Lydia. Does anyone remember for sure?
  10. I don't think so, but I do know that he donated generous amounts of money to General Hospital. He must have had contact with Alan and Monica just through that.
  11. After AW folded, several of its stars followed EP Chris Goutman to ATWT - Tom Eplin long-term, and Jensen Buchanan, Stephen Schnetzer, Lisa Peluso, Anna Stuart, Ellen Wheeler and Kim Rhodes short-term.
  12. I believe she got married in 1970 and had her daughter in 1971, so yes.
  13. I never understood that, either.
  14. I know you're right. I just have the image of the TX governor's smug face in my mind. They're hypocrites, too, because you know they would make an exception in about four seconds if they had a daughter or granddaughter who was in a "delicate" situation.
  15. I've been watching clips of GH from 1977 on, and Genie Francis was just so good as the complex and perpetually confused teenager Laura. She never phoned anything in and rose to every challenge. She was a very gutsy actress, especially being that young. Of course, Genie is still a wonderful actress though she's very rarely given good material to work with anymore.
  16. You can add to that list, though I love her, Elizabeth Hubbard.
  17. If TX was as passionate about gun reform as this...🙄
  18. It does! It's fun to read posts like that from people who watched the first time.
  19. No, you don't. They ran that poor song into the ground!! 😳
  20. Thanks for filling in the blanks. I liked Lydia. It's too bad GH didn't keep her around because she had the makings of a good mover and shaker.
