RIP Jerry Ross' election day nightmare was the first episode of GL I ever watched! He and Michael Zaslow got me hooked.

And that is the same Elizabeth Harrower who played Kay's friend, whom Jill thought was her mother, right? The eccentricity definitely came off in her performance! She seemed a free spirit. I wonder how she felt about playing that story in 2003, considering it was completely rewriting history she wrote! Love seeing the little tidbits and notes, amazing stuff. Great that Kay is doing well. Fascinating to hear Bell's thoughts on the possible gay/POC stories. Would love to hear more, if you are able to share.

So they won't even have him on one of their infamous Zoom calls? Lol. The best was when Nina was on Zoom because she was "visiting Phillip in Australia" but he just happened to be in the other room every time.

There are so many plot holes, and the premise is extremely thin, but damn if today wasn't a great show. The scene where Deacon went to tell Sheila about Finn was a classic. Sean Kanan and Kimberlin Brown are amazing. Sheila trying to hold it together and make a dumb joke about showering together as if this were a normal day. Sheila knowing what Deacon was about to tell her and having to wait to react. Just wow. I wonder if we will see Sheila go to the hospital and demand justice for whoever did it.

I have more 2005 coming from the discs someone sent me. It's just that I have been extremely busy with personal things. I should have more time soon. It would be great if you had them, because the disks I got are missing some episodes. So far they are all CBS broadcasts. I don't always know exactly what's on them til I go through them. Hopefully you can fill the remainder! Thanks!!! You're right. There is no reason they can't do scenes like that, even with the limited budget. It's just that they don't care anymore.

Plus Sheila was aggressively thirsting over Deacon at the time, so punishing Brooke by getting Ridge to dump her was counterintuitive as it would make Deacon hover around Brooke even more.

There was no point marrying him off to Sharon.

As much as PB probably didn't like the idea of playing dad to someone as old as Phillip Moon, it probably rankles just as much to play the father of someone who died of a heart attack.

Why are soap fans so averse to online streaming?
What does FAST model stand for? Google is giving all types of results. YouTube has a built in method for dealing with music rights. Copyright holders can upload their works and YouTube automatically scans new uploads for it to get a match. If there is a match, YouTube implements whatever the copyright holder wants to do. It could be that they allow the song to be played but take a cut of the ad revenue (it seems to be what B&B does), or that the video is allowed to be uploaded but must be muted (worldwide or certain countries), or that the video is blocked entirely (worldwide or just certain countries). If another streaming service picked up soaps they'd have to create their own system to ensure proper use of the music rights. It's much easier on a large platform like YouTube, but then the rub is that they're only collecting ad revenue and can't charge a subscription or per episode fee (which is great for us viewers since we get the content free!).

Yes! I'd also like to see the debut of Col. Douglas Austin. In the recaps some references were made to him and Victor having served together, and I've never seen Victor otherwise mentioning any military service. I'd like to see how that was explained. And the duel! Imagine how they wrote the stage directions for that! Haha.

Hah, I posted this ep last year courtesy of a friend who wants to stay anonymous. We had been talking about the clips in the Vault and I'd been reading along with SOD. I was telling him that I'd read about this scene and was disappointed that the clip poster skipped over this, and it turned out he still had this ep from 1985 on VHS and sent it to me!
