I was just thinking that as much as we have talked about Y&R being a more gothic show, they almost never acknowledged Halloween during the classic years. It wasn't until the 90s that I can remember they might have shown little Noah or Daniel briefly in costume in an otherwise normal episode. Even the famous masquerade ball in 1991 was set early in October. Only in the mid-2000s and on did they start making a bigger deal of it and having costume parties for the adults, but the show already was starting to look cheap then. -

According to Y&R canon, that was Sheila. That's why in 2010 they had to make the Lauren lookalike "Sheila's sister" because "Sheila" was dead. And apparently the "Sheila" that was in jail was really her crony Sugar with plastic surgery to look like Sheila. So, I guess if B&B wanted to honor the Y&R version, the current "Sheila" is really "Sugar." I feel stupider for having typed that out...

I can't really remember another time that they put a viewer discretion warning before the show, even for rapes and things. They usually do the PSA at the commercial break and the hotline at the end. It was pretty dumb of Billy to suggest that the roof is a good place for Chelsea to hang out. Why can't they just use the studio roof lke B&B did with Sheila and Taylor? That looked great.

One thing that annoys me is when they talk about how Diane is so evil on Y&R, the only reason they give is that she faked her death or stuff she did during Maura West's run (which I've pretty much blocked out). Phyllis never says anything like "I don't trust Diane because she framed me for arson!" or "She threw herself under my car so I'd run her over!" It's incredibly odd since all the actors from that period of time are still in the roles and they could show flashbacks of it and it would totally make sense. It was also strange that when Abby went through the conception of Dominic she never once mentioned that she herself was an artificial insemination baby or asked her mother for advice about that.

She looks great in the nurse's uniform. I hope they include the bees and the dog. And please not that stupid scene where she switches the labels on the bottle of wine.

According to the latest update, @ChickenNuggetz92 is still migrating to a new B&B Vault, so better to wait for the all clear. It's ok about the list. The angel sent me whatever they had available from 2005 already. I do have some 2006 and 2007 to look at (could be duplicates we already have) but there are at least a couple of new episodes. I'm waiting for the Vault to be ready.

Regarding the signature pics, you can block them for individual users. There is a little button at the bottom of the signatures with an X. If you click the arrow next to it, you get a drop down menu and you can choose to ignore all signatures or just that individual. I have done this with some people who have really huge photos on their signatures because it's a lot to scroll through. (I happened to clip this from @edgeofnik's post just as an example; theirs is very unobtrusive!)

Got some more additions from the angel. The Y&R Vault seems to be working again. 😁 On my public channel I added this partial Family Fued ep from 1984 (Melody looks gorgeous here) and some miscellanous promos and foreign opening credits. Then on the Vault I've added the following - thank you to the person who sent me all this! 2004-04-14 2004-05-03 ending 2004-05-10 partial I had been looking for this for a while! This is the Mother's Day episode where Kay gets drunk at the Mother's Day brunch and Father Todd helps her out (that part is missing). It's only 3/4 of the episode... I know, I like Sean Dominick and Bryton James and the dynamic between them and thought at least this was a somewhat interesting story... now I read that the story is already over, and I'm only 3-4 episodes behind... what the hell. 😅

One suggestion I have, if it's possible.... could we get the option to hide the "community posts" on the sidebar. I'm not always the most up to date in my watching, so a lot of times I inadvertently see spoilers there even if I'm not reading the spoiler section. The spoilers could be things that have aired that I haven't watched yet or actual spoilers that are being discussed in that forum. Even just seeing the titles would be ok, but seeing the texts of the posts sometimes gives away too much. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it would be nice to be able to hide it. I also had a question... is there a limit on how many posters can be added to a PM and is that expected to change?

I have gotten the failed error before, but not in a while. I was getting it a lot last summer. I would just have to keep trying a lot of times until it finally went through. Never got the "completed" error, that's really weird. The way I download is to check off the little circle to the left of the video title and hit download up top, but I can't imagine that's any different than the way you're doing it, so yeah I guess try a different browser.
