  1. That's actually awesome! I loved her. She and Graz did some chem testing scenes in 2008.
  2. Darlene Conley was 57 when CJ was born and she looked more matronly than any of the current women on the show.
  3. GH looks way better. Their sets are bland and generic but they're huge and there's some depth to them. You can see that there's a foyer and stairs and more to a home. The Chancellor and Newman "estates" now look like those 2-d dioramas that you make in second grade. Just a box that can only be shot from a straight angle. All of the characters on GH seem to have homes, apartments, and offices. There's nothing glaring missing. I couldn't believe it the other day when Billy and Lily said "let's not pretend we didn't just go to our first therapy session." I was like, uh, you're actually pretending you did go. They couldn't even do it from their office with a therapist on Zoom? If they can't afford the day player then just don't even write the lines. B&B has been subtle about making the Forrester mansion and offices a little smaller and they shoot outdoors. They have the same sets and actors they show all the time so it's easier for them to manage their budget. Their action scenes don't look great, but they at least do them. The only character Y&R has spent money on is Victoria. The redress of other sets as the Newman "palazzo" (as close as we will ever get to a location ever again), the car accident and fire (and they made a shack for her!), and they brought back her house for Ashland's death. THIS is what was worth blowing their budget.
  4. I would appreciate that you upload them, if you had already made them for yourself, but I don't want you to go to the trouble of making them just for us. BTW I looked and I have Marquise "not from youtube" files for 2007, 2008, 2009.
  5. Interesting, they did it for the women, but not for Eric Braeden or Christian Le Blanc and I can't remember if they did it for Peter Bergman. Edit: They didn't do Kate Linder's but I doubt she even had dialogue, hah.
  6. This will be the first time since she was married to Eric that Sheila will really be in a position of power in LA. That COULD be interesting if they play it right. Was all of her talk of reform BS or will she behave for a little while? Of course it was BS, but curious to see how far she'll go. It would be fun to have Bill take her to the fancy parties, if they ever have them again, in open-toed shoes of course.
  7. I hope they show us that look that made Bell make her a vixen.
  8. That's really good. Not just the classic stuff but also demonstrating how the show is modern and still relevant.
  9. My recollection is when there were space problems, @ChickenNuggetz92 removed those years since they are mostly on YouTube anyway (and in my opinion, not really classics ) but that may have inadvertently excluded the "not from youtube" ones. That was before the Y&R and GL Vaults were split up though, so maybe there is room now. Are you looking for something specific? I can look at my files tonight to see if I have those ones from @Marquise
  10. Some other Y&R favorites As Nick Reed in 1979 As Rex, reuniting with Gina, Christmas 1987
  11. I was just noticing him all over again when Y&R re-aired the Masquerade Ball over New Year's. He made so many little gestures as the Mad Hatter that I notice something new every time despite having watched that episode so many times. He has such a gleam in his eye. Such a unique character and actor. Let us not forget he was also Academy Award nominated for co-writing the Deer Hunter.
  12. Lol like on yesterday's show Abby mentioned her divorce being final. Like what. Aren't she and Chance billionaires with significant assets to be split and custody of a child. But it's just done, because they have no court house, no lawyers, no offices, and somehow she got the Chancellor estate, even though his mother owns it, and now she will just move in with Devon and the house won't have to be shown anymore. Chance's anger over her affair could have driven months of story and courthouse drama. Instead he's just like "oh whatever I'll go be homeless and work remotely from the coffehouse."
  13. Technically married but in the process of divorce. Victor got depressed when he saw that Ashley had married Dr. Steven Lassiter. Nikki comforted him and got pregnant.
  14. It would be quite funny to have Victoria knocked off her perch by finding out that she isn't named after Victor. I don't remember it ever being brought up. Summer knows, because they thought she was Jack's daughter that time. I feel like Kyle should know because articles have been written about Diane. But in those articles Diane's apparent only crime is faking her death and whatever Griffith made up offscreen. They never bring up her arson or sperm stealing.
  15. In the 1982 clips, Nikki is pretty sure Victor is the father due to the intricacies of her cycle, but Douglas tells her that Victor is so against the idea of having children that he once attempted a vasectomy, so she decides to give it a go with Kevin. Victor had another vasectomy when he got married to Diane, and still managed to get Sabrina and Ashley pregnant later but neither baby survived.
  16. Never realized that judge was Joe Lando.
  17. I could buy Morrow as Nikki's son but he doesn't come off as someone who was raised in a prestigious Swiss boarding school. The various Adams have that rich sophisticated effectation, even though he was the one raised on the farm. Chris Engen did the best job at coming off believably as both a country-born boy and a young Wall Street exec.
  18. Thanks! She looks good. I take it she's not on twitter, since she isn't tagged.
  19. Danny and Christine were a very romantic young couple but I also liked Paul and Christine as a couple in a mature relationship who had similar justice-oriented career goals and dealt with problems like a meddling mother-in-law and fertility issues. Danny and Cricket was more of a fairy tale where everything was perfect and it would have been perfect had Phyllis not come along. I liked the episode they did after she found out Danny never even slept with Phyllis at all. Their relationship never would have been broken up and they probably would've still been together (IIRC, Christine didn't want to go to NY when Danny was on Broadway because she hadn't passed the bar exam there, and not due to problems between them). There was a whole episode (might have been Labor Day) with clips of both couples and it looked like she was leaning Danny, but then she went to Paul and said no matter what was in the past, he was her husband and she loved him and they had a life now. I saw both couples as equally viable. Not even going to get into how they later ruined it with Isabella, the rape, and Christine getting engaged to Michael which is just something I cannot ever see her doing. Ugh.
  20. Thanks for keeping up with the unlisted stuff! There's a clip of this date in those "Brad in the cage" clips that used to be on YouTube, but the clip in the Vault is 9:55 and this is 19:45. Maybe @YRfan23 can figure out if this is new material or if part of it is a different episode. By the way, I'm uploading a bunch of promos from 1986-1989 in the Clips section of the Vault. They come from the big compilations on YouTube, so I'm not going to post them on my channel out of respect to the original uploader.
  21. I'd love to see some clips of Lauren's rivalry with Gina, when Gina was going to marry Neil Fenmore. I was just thinking about Gina with Danny's visit. Wouldn't Patty Weaver have been willing to do an appearance for Christmas alongside Danny? There was a fairly recent photo of her hanging out with cast members, I think. Or will Danny mention "the late, great, Gina Roma" out of the blue. We did learn on Friday that Paul is still alive and on a ski trip with Cricket, lol.
  22. Happy 2023! May this year be filled with good friends and classic characters!
