See? As much as I don't like Tomas any more, the money couple is him and Eva. They are just giving so much star-crossed. And outside of them, I thought it was good that in the overall Kat vs Eva rivalry, they both took a loss today. Ugh at Andre and Ashley. I can't believe it just looks like we are getting Dani/Andre/Ashley. Another side story for Dani to develop her for sure. But..ugh.

And mind you, the best Chance I had seen other than the originals was Melissa Ordway's husband who I loved and refused to accept anyone. So it's high praise that CF won me over before I even realized...oh duh he is handsome. lol. I do feel the canvas needs a good guy (and cop) character so he fit there. He had so many ties. And YES on him with Summer. I was happy that JG at least saw that there was a hint of spark between CF and AL and ran with it, but of course, the writing still suffered. I would have loved for them to leave town together. Their final few scenes were some of the most adult conversations we have had on this show in ages. Such a big mistake. I had stopped watching over Damian. This just makes me have no desire to go back to regular viewing any time soon. Just a waste.

And now the Doug/Vanessa/Joey takes another turn. And I thought it was very telling what Doug said about the image Vanessa would get if it turned out that she was sleeping with Joey and the whole community knew. Kat vs Eva...even with some of the writing as of late...is the gift that keeps giving.

God, I'm going to miss him. He came in after a problematic recast and I liked what he did with it...when he was given things to do of course.

Outside of the Andre/Ashley stuff, I've been enjoying it so far. I am curious to see if they are really going there with June and mental health...which is often overlooked in the black community. Or could Regina be gaslighting?

YES!!!! It's good to see an event happening again on this show. The anniversary party was the last one I believe so we are going on three months now. All we need is the police fundraiser now. Well when you are good at your job, people got to imitate. Not that they will duplicate.
