They should. She's needed on the panel.

Glee: Discusion Thread
Agreed about Kurt. Season 2-3 is about where I lost interest in Glee. Looking back, St. Kurt had a lot to do with that.

Rosie P's play debuted last Thursday. I think they stated as much on Monday. I've also noticed how happy and relaxed Whoopi is again. Huge difference. They've used Stacy London a lot. I wouldn't mind seeing her at the table and Cristela has really grown on me and I think she'd do well too. But would either actually sign on if offered? Would they even offer them the jobs, if they're even in the running? Stacy looks awfully comfortable at that table, LOL. I guess Cristela could use a job if ABC cancels her sitcom.

It's been nice having five co-hosts so far this week. Consistent. That's what is needed. The never ending guest co-host thing has to stop. Samantha Ponder and Stacy London are so being tested out, IMO. Stacy looks very comfortable at that desk. I'd be OK with this panel. I still think they need a complete and total overhaul but I don't know that they think they do. So if those were the two co-hosts, I'd be fine with it.

They need to bring back Joy, honestly. I second having a Brinks truck parked outside of her house. I hope that her return as a guest co-host was somewhat of a test but I don't know that she'd return. Has she said anything anywhere about whether she'd consider going back or not? She seems to love the show but at the same time seems content with having moved on. Whoopi has been a major reason I've watched over the years but I think it's probably time for her to go as well. It's been a nice, solid run. It's time to move on. (Add me in as another one who LOVED her sitcom on NBC). I'd adore Meredith and Lisa and Star and Joy all being brought back but none of them will probably ever come back as a permanent host. They should. Although I probably wouldn't go with Star again. I also noticed how they've somehow pulled Babs into the show as a guest host every now and then. I have to LOL when Whoopi says "it's been a while but Barbara is back" ... um, not really. I feel like she's been on at least once a month if not more than that. It's almost like before where she'd be gone for days and then show up for an episode. Not much different IMO. I'm glad to see Barbara return. I was tired of her by the time she retired but I'd take her back, too. I think having her guest co-host on Friday's is a smart thing to do. I do find it interesting they've pulled out Joy and Barbara. I'd only keep Nicolle Wallace. She's a bit boring but I really do like her. A lot. The show needs a solid panel. These guest co-hosts have GOT to stop. Seriously. Enough. It was awful when Rosie P. AND Whoopi were both off the show in January. Stacy London would be a good choice but I don't find her all that interesting TBH. I've liked Michelle Williams co-hosting. She has some spark to her. Carolina Bermudez had some spark as well. I love Rosie Perez as a person and I'm so on the fence about dumping her but I say have Bermudez replace Perez, keep Wallace, bring back Joy, keep Whoopi for one more year (to transition the show) and find a fifth cohost. Stop this guest co-host crap. Why do they seem so unwilling to fill that fifth chair? They haven't had a true fifth co-host in ages.

The Official MTV's The Real World Thread
The Real World hasn't had my attention since like Hawaii. They cast trash. I don't know how the show has veered so off course. It's all about getting drunk, sleeping around and yelling at each other.

Agreed completely. They "tried" that this season but it needs a COMPLETE overhaul and relaunch. The show has lost it's spark. I'm not at all shocked Rosie O is leaving. Again. I also think she wanted control and wasn't getting it. I'm sure that was a factor. She's looked miserable a lot of times and I do sense a bit of tension between Whoopi and Rosie. Do I think they're feuding and despise each other? No. Whoopi also seems over it all at this point. I think she enjoys playing to the audience and that aspect of it but overall she just seems ... different. It's a shame because I like Whoopi, Rosie P. and Nicolle. (I do somewhat still like Rosie O, but she just seems so pushy anymore and I hate how she acts like a child when she makes up her mind about something and refuses to have a sane discussion about it). But something just isn't gelling. I know she gets knocked a bit and was very checked out by the time she left, but Joy felt right guest co-hosting and I sort of miss that presence. But she could get tiring after a while.

I like Carolina Bermudez. She'd be a great fit for the show. I like Rosie Perez but personally I'd swap them out in a heartbeat. Stacy London is alright but eh. The show needs a good mix of women. Something remains missing from the panel. I feel like Variety is trying to save face with that article.

I really don't find the Talk all that wonderful, to be honest. Without The View would there have even been The Talk? I just haven't found a single compelling reason to watch The Talk, ever. And it's not out of anger that ATWT was cancelled. It's just as boring to me as The View is becoming. The Talk is definitely overrated, IMHO. The View is a hot mess though. Hot hot mess. Nicolle Wallace is fine. Get rid of everyone else. I wouldn't mind Joy back. I've like Laverne Cox and Naya Rivera but neither is going to be accepting a job on The View if one were even offered. IMO. Rosie Perez is likeable enough but this isn't for her. They should have tried for Brooke Shields. I really would rather not have any of those Housewives on The View. I'm so over them and them having celebrity status. If I had to, I'd go with Bethenny, Nene or someone who's actually working and making a name for themselves. Not just throwing drinks and being a bitch for the sake of camera time [and not sure why so many people stan for the Housewives and their awful behavior]. I just don't know where The View can go from here, honestly. They've had too much overturn of co-hosts and not enough stability recently. This would be the easiest [and best] time to end it. They desperately need a fifth permanent co-host. Something is missing from the panel. They're promoting Rosie Perez's return so that, to me, means they're making it clear she isn't fired ... yet LOL. I don't trust them when they say "so and so isn't going anywhere". Whoopi seems checked out half the time, and I don't blame her. But at the same time, I'm not seeing where she HATES the show and wants out desperately. Why does everyone jump on all of these rumors of them hating each other, wanting out, etc? I think Whoopi maybe loves her paycheck more than being on the show at this point, but she could leave anytime and be fine. So, why stick around? I really don't have problems with Rosie O. She's not the same she used to be, but I think she's gotten a tad better. She still pisses me off when she fails to engage in a discussion that doesn't follow the agenda and her already made up mind. I know she's probably trying to not get into heated debates but she comes off childish at times. As I said. The View is a hot, hot mess. But I really like the addition of Nicolle Wallace! And if they ever add Mario Cantone permanently ... I'd rather see the show cancelled first. That would NOT be a step in the right direction. Temporary fill in host? Fine. Permanent? No.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
I always found him boring and somewhat isolated from most of the rest of the cast, to be honest. BYE! I really WANT to love this show. And it has it's moments, and I can get into it, but it just sometimes is way too depressing and hard to keep up with, for whatever reason.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
He made Denise an alcoholic who BEATS Patrick? You have to be kidding me. Disgusting. I'm really disappointed in that. REALLY disappointed. It also bothered me how they started off Ian and Denise, I liked it, but then she only stayed with him out of pity (because of Lucy's pointless murder, right?). And I agree with you on him. Wasn't his first stint praised to hog heaven?

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I didn't mind the San Cristobel stuff in the beginning. I liked Edmund and Richard but it just lasted too long. It felt like them and the Santos clan took over the show. IMO. And not in a good way. I always liked Edmund but they just overdid it with him coming and going and one minute he was misunderstood, the next he was almost like a mustache twirling villain. He had good chemistry with Beth and Cassie. They also shouldn't have kept Bradley Cole after Richard died. In moderate doses, Carmen was fine and entertaining to me. I liked Ray. I didn't mind Tony, at times, but the writing just wasn't there for him. The numerous recasts of Marah, Shayne, etc. didn't help, either. You couldn't get invested in them. I agree about how Ben, Michelle and Bill were all basically like watching strangers with familiar names. When Joie Lenz left they should have ended Manny or brought on a stronger Michelle. NSA was too matronly as Michelle, she aged too much and I just didn't care anymore at that point. And personally, I wasn't that big of a Paul Anthony Stewart fan and they seemed to lose interest in Danny. I did like the chemistry between Laura Wright and PAS (which is rare when on a new soap that two actors once paired together can recapture their chemistry, but they did). I also agree that Claire was mostly wasted in her return. What a shame as there was a LOT of potential there. I also didn't like losing Abby. Or Selena, to be honest. I think the cast purging around 1997/1998 wasn't very good for the show. A lot of characters left. The recasts of Cassie and Michelle fell completely flat to me. Nicole Forester actually wasn't a bad actress, IMO, but she shouldn't have been Cassie. Cassie should have just been written off.

I wish there'd be an over the air network that would pick up the primetime soaps. I wish I could find a stream online of TVGN/Pop ...

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Thanks for the info on Jay/Ben. I wish they would go there with them. But I don't think DTC would tell that story well at all if they did. And of course Ben tried to force himself on Abi. Sigh. I'm considering watching again but between that and hearing Denise is being wasted ... I don't know. Why does everyone have to either be miserable or a violent SOB?

I haven't watch EastEnders in forever ... lol So, how original. Have the gay boy beaten up. What's with Jay and Ben? Are they ... "going there" with them? I feel I missed some context here. I see Barbara Windsor and John Partridge [Christian] are returning for the anniversary week. Ross Kemp turned it down. LOL

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
LOL. Wasn't trying to start a debate on "the Toms" but they're clearly bi or gay. I'd say it's damn obvious and that's fine. And many many many many straight/curious guys have some DL fun. Nothing wrong with it.
-
BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
I was meaning most straight guys won't sleep together like that, not saying all wouldn't. Not a gay guy and a "straight" guy who's either in denial, bi-curious, or just into sex.
-
BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
Yeah, sorry, straight guys don't sleep like that. I don't watch the show but have read this thread and then googled the "Toms" ... they're supposed to be straight? I got instant pings from one of them.
