  1. Not really. I saw Laura nodding in agreement. I doubt Laura enjoyed Kim's pushy personality though.
  2. I really wish I had saved my magazines.
  3. Same. They COULD be kind of clever about it, should they so choose. But it could likely only last so long. They kinda have to come up with something. Social distancing seems possible. I'd rather they not address the situation itself on the soaps though, personally, but they may have to. Not sure. DAYS doesn't need to worry about it, LOL.
  4. I never knew that about OLTL/Kevin. That sucks. Would have loved it. Daytime has burned several good actors/actresses.
  5. I agree with all of this, but I also felt they basically swapped Andy out for Jake McKinnon and Tom Eplin in terms of story. Andy should have been paired with Molly. He was gone in 2000, so they overlapped a bit but still ... Hogan likely had no use for him. DeFreitas and later Holroyd being dumped always pissed me off.
  6. Not a bad idea. Hopefully they can pull it off. Maybe easier for a half hour show. I can see B&B doing similar things. But who knows?
  7. I love hearing anything I can about this show. Like James, it's always fascinated me and I've wanted to watch the full run. I watch whatever I can on YouTube. It's been nice to have the Loving murders. As well as the first week of The City to watch. I was always bummed SoapNet never aired it.
  8. Yep. This. MADD was the problem. Not that Goutman didn't suck ass of course ... like soapsuds said, it was MADD who dumped him. But considering Andy never returned under Goutman it does open the question up ... Still not sure why they dumped Scott Holroyd for awful one note Roger Howarth.
  9. I'm a bad soap fan. I had no idea they were sister-in-laws! lol
  10. Agreed on the roles for older women in the industry, but to be fair LAD booked B&B a few years later and was on there for several years until Brad got bored.
  11. Yes! Hopefully more are to come. Seems like Alan's actively working to get whoever and anybody he can so that's good. lol. I'd also like to circle back around to other actors who've already participated but with different folks. Lots of opportunities here. I do imagine some actors aren't into the whole thing and maybe don't have or understand how to participate but I hope he starts digging deeper.
  12. That's good to hear about Sandra and Matt keeping in touch with her (or that they did). Sounds like Beverlee was talking about Vicky Wyndham ... lol.
  13. I don't mind them as a group. I'd love to forget the Santos invasion but I like all of them as actors.
  14. Absolutely. Meanwhile I had to LOL at Gina talking about the sets (the vibe behind the scenes, I mean, and the camaraderie amongst the cast) of the east coast shows and IMO says a lot about her last show she was on ... lol
  15. That's what I thought on him. And yeah for 40. Looks damn good. Hard to believe so I agree! lol
  16. They dumped him in 1998 right or did he leave on his own? I hated them getting rid of Bryan Buffington and later Scott DeFreitas, for example. Heaven forbid they aren't models with a six pack.
  17. SO good seeing them. Maeve looks the same. Bryan looks great (he lives in Tampa! lol I had to laugh at "it's getting hot" yep ... Florida summer has arrived). Didn't know Gina had family in Florida.
  18. Are they not on CBS All Access? (I don't have that service so I don't know). Anyone uploading them to YouTube?
  19. Kudos again to Y&R for doing this! B&B is an embarrassment as is GH in terms of this. I think there's financial reasons behind it as well as fear of viewers realizing how shitty these two shows actually are now. As butchered as Y&R is, it (and DAYS) still mostly resemble what they used to be. Not at all the same, but in terms of actors still being there it works better for those two, IMO.
  20. Same for Constance Ford. She was nurturing and helpful, and well liked (I believe). A little surprised Wyndham was so cold, considering the actors she was around. Has there been any recent interviews with her? Anyone ask Sandra Robinson about her? Linda Dano? Schnetzer?
  21. Of course she was likely unhappy. She saw a vibrant show be turned into a trainwreck. She did her job and played Justine. I'm sure as an actor it was a challenge and many accept a challenge, whether they like it or not. She had a loyalty to the show, as most actors now seem to have.
  22. It's bizarre watching Heinle because she actually has personality and life to her. Just saying.
