  1. From your lips to God's ears! Please!! On another note, I hate, hate, hate that Cain is seemingly going to go all vigilante on Debbie's partner-in-crime, Simon. This is one of the many, many, many reasons I cannot stand him, this pathetic brutish behaviour that he constantly reverts to. I'm not saying that Simon shouldn't be punished for what he did, but Debbie is the one who is ultimately responsible for what happened to Ross. This is all so typical of the Dingle family. Everyone else is to blame except them. I'm seriously running out of ways to express how much I loathe that whole family. They make me sick!
  2. I just read that is leaving. I really must keep up better with coming's and goings. To bad that it also appears that .
  3. I agree with practically everything you say, especially the part in bold. Those two episodes, especially the second one, were some of the best ever on television. I did love everything around Mark's death, except that it had to happen. But it was all superbly done and acted. I'll never forget the image of Kerry reading the message from Corday posted on the noticeboard in the ER and breaking down in tears.
  4. Clooney leaving didn't bother me at all. Mark's death on the other hand was a real blow. And after Corday and Weaver had left my interest waned. I didn't even watch the final few seasons, but I came back for the final episode.
  5. Amazing how different we can see things. Abby (Maura Tierney's character) was one of my least favourite on ER.
  6. While I don't normally condone violence, that would have been delicious.... What a lovely thought!
  7. In it's prime ER was probably one of the best shows of all time. The last few seasons were not as good, but it was must-see-tv for almost 10 years.
  8. Love it, love it, love it!! http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emmerdale/news/a849618/emmerdale-fans-react-debbie-ross-acid-attack/ Oh, and did I mention that I LOVE IT!
  9. Why does it always snow when Christmas is over? Who cares about snow then?
  10. You're right! I forgot about Shadrach (or at least I really tried to... ) Chris was such a complex, fascinating character. There's no way that they will be able to make Joseph anywhere near his father. The writing is so much more shallow now, like the characters. The Tates were such exceptional characters, all of them, that it's no wonder that no-one has been able to live up to their legacy at Home Farm. Which is why it's so sad that someone like Kim is mostly remembered as the super-bitch of Emmerdale. She was much more than that, and it's a shame that all the other aspects of her is overlooked.
  11. I wish I could say that I'm surprised, but I'm not....
  12. ^^ A joyous occasion, the death of a Dingle, turns into a nightmare with the introduction of two more members of that wretched family! And even worse, it would eventually lead to the introduction of the worst character this show has ever had....
  13. This is another marvelous performance by the same couple. (Can you tell I really like them? )
  14. Ice Dancing has always been my favourite discipline in figure skating. This is one of my all-time favourite programs, Gwendal Peizerat and Marina Anissina dancing to The Man in the Iron Mask. It still gives me chills. So beautiful.
