I agree! But then again, there are not many characters left in Emmerdale that I really like, so.....- What Are You Listening To?

The only thing Trump has revealed is that stupidity is more widespread than I ever thought was possible.- What Are You Listening To?

There have been worrying reports from countries like Germany, Iran and South Korea that the rate of infection has increased again when restrictions have been lifted. It's still too early to tell if this is a definite trend, but it is still cause for concern.... https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-52604676- What Are You Listening To?

Almost everyone....?! There are actually some who believe that you can treat it with bleach or something similar?!! Is it really possible to be that stupid? (Unless you're Donald Trump of course. I have no illusions about him anymore)- What Are You Listening To?

^^ If that is true I wonder what the implications will be. If one can get re-infected will it be possible to relax the restrictions which have been implemented before a vaccin is produced? Will concerts be possible, or sporting events? Will theatres be able to re-open? This could have severe repercussions for a very long time.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
My viewing has been...hmm, let's call it sporadic (), the last months. But since I'm currently home sick I thought I'd look in and see where we're at in the episodes airing here. And it didn't take me more than half an episode to remember why this show infuriates me so much now.... Dingles everywhere. Apparently we're right after Graham's death now, and Marlon's been arrested for his murder. Now, I don't know if this is just me reading too much into it, but at one point it almost felt like the show was poking fun at the Dingles and their frequent visits to jail. (That can't be right though, can it? Making fun of the Dingles? ). April wanted to visit her father and she asked Belle what it was like inside, and it almost felt like it was a sly dig at the fact that almost every Dingle has been arrested at some point. Much like a later scene where Paddy was unsure what he could bring Marlon when they visited, and Chas immediately thought of chocolate (something he could use for bargaining), showing that this was a situation she was very familiar with. (Which frankly Paddy should be too, considering how long he's been involved with the Dingle clan) But the thing that actually made me switch channels was a scene in the Woolpack. Kim and Jamie came in for a drink, and Chas and Mandy stood behind the bar (uugh, it makes me ill to even write that) and acted like some moral pillars of virtue. It was nauseating. Kim left and Jamie defended her, saying that Marlon was the one who was arrested, not Kim. Then Belle showed up and in a shocked voice asked Jamie if he was accusing her cousin of murder.... and Jamie just stood there! The obvious retort would have been that they're accusing his mother of murder, but no... not a word. It made me want to throw something at the tv. The hypocrisy of the Dingles is very much alive and it was always one of their worst traits (among the many, many, many, many others....) I can't stand the sight of them anymore. They make me sick to my stomache.- Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread
Wow, I didn't think it was possible to be that stupid! My mistake...I should have learned by now never to underestimate Donald Trump.- The Chandler Massey Lovefest
Seriously, what kind of infantile behaviour is this? If you don't like what someone is posting then just ignore them, instead of acting like a five year old child.- What Are You Listening To?

Fine, then he can stay at home and feel good about not taking any vaccin, while the rest of us get on with life.... I have very little sympathy or understanding for people like that. If they only put themselves in danger that would be one thing, but people like that are responsible for the re-emergence of diseases like measles.- What Are You Listening To?

No, I hadn't seen it, but thank you. Those were the days..... I can't believe those amateurs in the comments who don't remember every single one of those in the picture.... They are all ingrained in my memory.- What Are You Listening To?
