So was he able to have sex with Linda but when he got together with Trish, not able to have sex with her? Or was this before Linda? I end up feeling sorry for Brooke, who lost Trish's friendship because of that heat of the moment comment to Mike. Mike being so enraged - was that unusual for him? I'm not used to reading about so much violence with the character. At least poor Valerie got to leave with her integrity, but I wish she'd stayed.

Carlton has a nice dress but her face is so soulless, it's like a death mask. Joyce - pageant dresses why? Or is that a figure skating dress? I think Lisa's dress would look better with better posture but it's still weird and very dated. She looks like she's on GLOW. I kind of wonder if she wore that to make herself seem more of the matron, and therefore if people attack her, they're attacking their elder. Brandi looks like Nicole Kidman, a little. Or Renee Zellweger. Generic. I wonder if she and Carlton coordinated. I like her hair. I wish she hadn't worn those heels. Kyle looks the best, aside from that Victoria Newman circa 1995 hairstyle. Carlton's dress is the second best, although like I said, I feel like she's staring at me... Kim looks good but I am one of those people who would ask, "Where are your pants?" if someone asked me their opinion on that type of dress. It looks incomplete.

The problem with Brandi is I don't think most of the drama she brings can be used on the TV show. It's either something mostly edited around, like the feud with Adrienne, or it's just nasty, like the stuff with Joyce. Outside of that it's a lot of "poor me poor me." I guess she caused good TV in season 2, but she seems to be a very different person now. I don't really get anything with Peter/Cynthia/her sister. It's like someone has pumped mind-altering chemicals into their house.

That's interesting. I wonder why he wasn't at ATWT. I can't say I was bowled over by the wardrobe on GL in those years, although Vanessa's outfits amused me.

The show was never going to keep that level of viewers. Never. Every single season has lost viewers as it goes along. The ratings at the end of the first half of the season were similar to the show's typical ratings. They may fall again - the show is four seasons old and returning during the Olympics - but I don't think it will be because of some collective viewer rage toward Carl, Rick, and Michonne. There has already been an episode revolving solely around these three, and the ratings did not collapse.

I think Brandi is a hurt little girl, more or less. She needs help and I think she needs to be taken off the show.

I know that Mary Stuart said there was something where she was supposed to be jealous of Stu having a new girlfriend, and she played it as being worried about losing a friend, not as romantic, as she thought that was silly. I'm glad Long agreed.

I got the feeling that the show just didn't think Lloyd Kendall worked. Wasn't TR also on the way out if the show hadn't been canceled?

If people sat through two Governor episodes surely they can take an episode with Carl, Rick, and Michonne.
