  1. I didn't know he was that young either. That's ludicrous. I always wonder if Bell cast him to set up an affair/exit story all along or if he'd just stopped caring about Nathan altogether and we got that guy as a result. Was this Nathan brought in after Malcolm took off in popularity?
  2. I would think at this point she's too much of a legal liability, but Andy or whoever seems to think the show can't function without Kim and Brandi.
  3. Someone in the comments section (my first comment...something else to check off my box) said the second episode I posted was December 5, Episode #5755. Here's the next one. I checked multiple times to see what footage I'm missing, but I uploaded all I had. Sorry about that. After that I just have one more partial episode. Again if anyone has the full I'll be happy to take these down or what have you.
  4. At first I thought that said Troy Beyer and thought, "Dominique would have something to say about this." I haven't watched tonight's yet but I have to laugh at how they use Robert to move these plots along - they'd be so foolish if they get rid of him. I hope this won't ruin Rakesh.
  5. From Monika
  6. Monika I'm still looking around - I found the two OLTL episodes I put on disc, but not that one yet.
  7. That's great. If you want to send them to me I can put them up.
  8. Second episode (hopefully this worked alright)
  9. I think some of the magazines at the time said she quit to get married.
  10. This did make me laugh.
  11. Cass was a suspect in that murder. That was the irony of Donna's scheming against Sally - Cecile was far more formidable in "taking" Peter away from her, which she didn't realize until too late. I've enjoyed almost all I've seen of 1983 (which admittedly isn't a ton). The show feels cohesive and fresh to me, and developing its own unique style, in a way that it struggled with before and after.
  12. I think he was clean-shaven in the Amish story. I always felt like there was more of an idea of the show being all about Reva than there was a reality, with some exceptions like the clone story. Maybe this changed after I quit watching for good (2003 or 2004), but during times like 1996, I felt like Wendy Moniz was in my face 5 days a week. Later on this became the mob, San Cristobel, etc.
  13. Quite a rare find.
  14. RIP Betsy Palmer. http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/05/betsy_palmer_dead_at_88_actres.html
  15. Never saw her on ATWT but I remember her from I've Got A Secret and Knots Landing. Sorry to hear she's gone.
  16. It's tough, because I think Matt di Angelo gets too much stick at times, but I just can't really watch any of his stories now. It's the rape, yes, but more than anything it's the odious "mother's love" trope with Shirley where we're supposed to cry for her because her sons are at war and she just wants everyone to be happy (on her terms), and isn't this sad. I dread Shabnam being her next target. I thought Tiana had some potential, especially after Lucas came around. The drug story was terrible, but she wasn't bad at the end. She also had a lot more chemistry with Scott Maslen than Sam Womack ever did, but we know that wasn't happening. I like Kim and I think Tameka's done a great job over the years, especially since her return, but you see the show working hard (for now anyway) to increase her role, and Denise is still just there, not even able to get a job, much less anything else. And it's such a waste. I couldn't help comparing her, just sitting there, with Ellen Thomas hamming it up on Friday, and it just made me wonder why DTC can't use an actress who was already there and who has done so much with scraps.
  17. I never realized how they pounce on those songs - at least it was just a bit scene with that googly-eyed Nathan recast I try to forget. There's another one with Keesha and Malcolm so we'll see. I only remember Gatti's Keesha as dying, so it's interesting to see her playing the tougher side. She's not too bad, even if it was racist to recast the role with a white woman. Sad to see Luan again. I still think she could have been a bigger, long-term part of the show. And when Sharon was such a strong, likeable heroine, with Doris as her Liz Foster. Ugh. It's sad to watch. Even Brenda Epperson in her last month or two is more compelling than pretty much anyone in a major role these days.
  18. Sad thing is that he is by default my favorite Carter, although I enjoy Nancy around Tamwar.
  19. Love the Paulina and Jake interaction, and Donna being torn, and Michele's scheme. I wonder if any of her plans are Reginald's work.
  20. I think I got it this time, if anyone still wants to deal with this. Sorry. I'll try to get the other few episodes up over the next few days, if they aren't already available.
  21. This is the first episode I had downloaded. I'm not sure if they never put up the end or they did and i lost it, but the last segment is missing. The first Nathan/barfly scene had a song that I had to take out. If it seems choppy, my apologies - I manually recorded each segment so I could take out all the commercials, to save upload time and in case they had anything that would get flagged. Well at least I've learned how to join videos, so that's an accomplishment, I suppose. Never mind - it looks like the wrong segment went up at the end. I'll do it again. Sorry about this mess.
  22. I got emotional reading Stacey's speech to Lindsay. It's heartbreaking to see this happen, but I'm glad you had Stacey tell her what she had to hear. I'm also glad you didn't feel you had to drag this out for many chapters, the way too many soaps do. And poor Carl. Russ concerned for Rachel, as always. I'm glad you had the quick comic relief with Frankie and Cass.
