  1. Finally Leela is back! Interested to see what the plans for her are. Having her buy their flat was a good start. I don't know if she ever quit, but I hope she goes back to being a firefighter. It was nice to see them pick up the Sienna/Leela friendship from jump. As hard as it is with their block taping, you can tell Lucy Allan is trying her best to build relationships/friendships. I appreciate that.
  2. Fascinating, thank you. I have to laugh at Teletubbies being on the list! 😄
  3. Has BBC or anyone ever done the 100 greatest British shows? I'd be interested in seeing that list.
  4. Well hey, Sami and Celeste work together ... Trust me, I like Shaq, too. I'm actually attracted to the majority of actors on this show. It's exhausting, honestly. If Becky becomes a bunny boiler for Tony/Diane, it's a little tiring after we just got rid of Edward. Speaking of, seeing Tony running the Pub is going to be so weird to me. Though it did give us a Jacqui and Nathan Nightingale mention! so that was nice. I'm very happy Diane got rid of her red hair, she looks great, but you'd think since the red hair was a by-product of Edward that she would have changed it the second he kicked the bucket. I will say, Lucy Allan is doing pretty well with Goldie. I can't say I've watched with any regularity since she debuted so her being fleshed out at the minute is working for me. Olivia was giving me Rachel Hardy vibes, a.k.a brought in as an instant love interest only to die in six months, but whether she does or doesn't I don't think I want to see her as a villain, too. We'll see I guess.
  5. Theresa's top 5 men currently in the village 5. Felix Westwood 4. Shaq Qureshi 3. Jack Osborne - I mean, I knew she liked older men, but this was a bit much, especially coming off the recent story where she tried to set him up with Nana. 2. Unknown 1. ? - maybe they'll build a story around whoever it is, but if I had my way it would be Warren Fox. They had so much chemistry back in the day, which I'm just remembering was during Lucy Allan's last stint! They'll always be one of those lost chances pairings for me. Of course, it was also Lucy Allan (if I remember correctly) that Theresa had a crush on Ste before he was gay, which always makes me laugh when I remember it. I think the show should also be putting Maxine with Sami right now. He knows she had a crush on him so it would have made much more sense he turned to her after the break up with Verity, and Fergus would still want to split them up because Sami's a lawyer and could get too suspicious about his dirty dealings. Are Sami and Verity still endgame for me? Yes, but this would be better than her chemistry-less pairing with Warren. The show has done this with Maxine before, forcing the coupling between her and Dodger who were awful, especially off the back of Dodger/Texas, who are one of my favourite Oaks couples, ever. Now, for a bit of shameless fun, who are your top 5 hunks in the village? If it's good enough for Theresa, why not us? Of course, there's handfuls of hot men currently in the show, but challenge yourself to just 5. Poor Brody would definitely be on my list if he hadn't have perished. 5. Felix Westwood 4. Sami Maalik 3. Joel Dexter 2. John Paul McQueen 1. Darren Osborne
  6. Like with Louise Sorel, it's probably a safe bet they gave her short notice.
  7. For her first stint on the show Arianne Zucker went by Zuker. Tracey Bregman added the E to her first name thanks to the advice from a psychic.

I guess it pays off playing what you know.
  9. I never re-watch TV shows, but I am revisiting (😉) the masterpiece that is Brideshead Revisited (1981 - and 1981 alone) because I loved it so much when I first watched it, but that was over a decade ago and so I felt it more than deserved a refresher with fresh eyes.
  10. It never should have happened. I'm pretty sure I complained about it here when it happened. Stupid.
  11. I'm with you about Warren. Brody is his sixth murder. I hope it's revealed that Sienna didn't actually delete his confession to his previous 5 murders that she had, but I doubt it. The thing is, I don't hate him at all, he's more than watchable, but like you said, it's more than time. At the very least, this return has more than made up for his horrible stint from 2010-2011. I don't think I had any idea Brody/Marnie were ever a thing. Her very Marnie reaction the day of his funeral was hilarious. Oli's material surrounding Brody was so glaring to me because of the recast. I miss Aedan Duckworth so much that I'm strongly questioning whether I even care for Oli to stick around once Luke goes. It's sad that COVID stopped us from getting a proper funeral for Brody. I know it's necessary for safety protocols, and I'm not even sure what they are exactly in the UK, but as a viewer it really is just annoying at this point that we can't get proper group scenes for who knows how long.
  12. Yeah, Bob was just the first character that came to mind. Before James Hooton revealed himself as such, I honestly would have been happy to keep Sam/Lydia/Samson representing the Dingles, but Hooton had to trip himself up and ruin it. A lot of the characters I'd write out would be despite their portrayer's talents. Most, if not all, of the Dingles+friends group are amazing actors, but it's more than time for that stranglehold they have on the show to end. One thing I will say about these current producers is that, no matter what you think of the material, they've seemingly made Victoria actually matter again. Never thought I'd see the day. At least the intention of that aspect is nice.
  13. Well, James Hooton (Sam Dingle) has proven to be an anti-vaxxer, so we can use that as an impetus to finally rid the show of the Dingles. Keep Lydia, pair her with Bob (most likely), because God knows Wendy doesn't have long term potential.
  14. Always sad to see a member of the Oz cast leave us. It feels like so many have.
  15. The only problem I've had with Eric Martsolf ever being on the show is that with his casting they aged Brady way too much. I know this is DAYS, but I'm still going to hate every individual SORAS'ing blunder no matter what level of asinine, with EJ obviously being the stupidest.
  16. Hopefully that was the end of it. That whole story seemed so skeevy. I also thought Jackie went manic way too much. She doesn't have to be cRaZy Jackie all the time.
  17. Famous offspring of soap stars could be another thread entirely.
  18. Emmerdale is the only soap that still makes great promos. Whether the material lives up to said promos is another matter, but still props to them.
  19. That's what I meant, I'd like to see the FB post myself.
  20. So is every other story on this shitshow.
  21. Can you share the link, please?
  22. This is wrong of me, but I really do enjoy whenever the majority of TikTok comes together to bully one random person. Right now it's the couch guy. Never fails to make me laugh.
  23. I just copied and pasted the embed code.
  24. Francisco San Martin (ex-Dario Hernandez, DAYS) looking damn good!
