  1. For her first stint on the show Arianne Zucker went by Zuker. Tracey Bregman added the E to her first name thanks to the advice from a psychic.

I guess it pays off playing what you know.
  3. I never re-watch TV shows, but I am revisiting (😉) the masterpiece that is Brideshead Revisited (1981 - and 1981 alone) because I loved it so much when I first watched it, but that was over a decade ago and so I felt it more than deserved a refresher with fresh eyes.
  4. It never should have happened. I'm pretty sure I complained about it here when it happened. Stupid.
  5. I'm with you about Warren. Brody is his sixth murder. I hope it's revealed that Sienna didn't actually delete his confession to his previous 5 murders that she had, but I doubt it. The thing is, I don't hate him at all, he's more than watchable, but like you said, it's more than time. At the very least, this return has more than made up for his horrible stint from 2010-2011. I don't think I had any idea Brody/Marnie were ever a thing. Her very Marnie reaction the day of his funeral was hilarious. Oli's material surrounding Brody was so glaring to me because of the recast. I miss Aedan Duckworth so much that I'm strongly questioning whether I even care for Oli to stick around once Luke goes. It's sad that COVID stopped us from getting a proper funeral for Brody. I know it's necessary for safety protocols, and I'm not even sure what they are exactly in the UK, but as a viewer it really is just annoying at this point that we can't get proper group scenes for who knows how long.
  6. Yeah, Bob was just the first character that came to mind. Before James Hooton revealed himself as such, I honestly would have been happy to keep Sam/Lydia/Samson representing the Dingles, but Hooton had to trip himself up and ruin it. A lot of the characters I'd write out would be despite their portrayer's talents. Most, if not all, of the Dingles+friends group are amazing actors, but it's more than time for that stranglehold they have on the show to end. One thing I will say about these current producers is that, no matter what you think of the material, they've seemingly made Victoria actually matter again. Never thought I'd see the day. At least the intention of that aspect is nice.
  7. Well, James Hooton (Sam Dingle) has proven to be an anti-vaxxer, so we can use that as an impetus to finally rid the show of the Dingles. Keep Lydia, pair her with Bob (most likely), because God knows Wendy doesn't have long term potential.
  8. Always sad to see a member of the Oz cast leave us. It feels like so many have.
  9. The only problem I've had with Eric Martsolf ever being on the show is that with his casting they aged Brady way too much. I know this is DAYS, but I'm still going to hate every individual SORAS'ing blunder no matter what level of asinine, with EJ obviously being the stupidest.
  10. Hopefully that was the end of it. That whole story seemed so skeevy. I also thought Jackie went manic way too much. She doesn't have to be cRaZy Jackie all the time.
  11. Famous offspring of soap stars could be another thread entirely.
  12. Emmerdale is the only soap that still makes great promos. Whether the material lives up to said promos is another matter, but still props to them.
  13. That's what I meant, I'd like to see the FB post myself.
  14. So is every other story on this shitshow.
  15. Can you share the link, please?
  16. This is wrong of me, but I really do enjoy whenever the majority of TikTok comes together to bully one random person. Right now it's the couch guy. Never fails to make me laugh.
  17. I just copied and pasted the embed code.
  18. Francisco San Martin (ex-Dario Hernandez, DAYS) looking damn good!
  19. Days: Victor Kiriakis is not a character that should remain on the canvas as long as John Aniston can remain. It doesn't fit his character to pass away peacefully in his sleep. He never should have been able to make it to this grandpa stage. Same as Stefano. It completely dilutes their legacy.
  20. Lemon's rap verse in Priyanka's new song has been all the rage on the internet for drag race fans. As a Canadian, I love to see it!
  21. I hated the self-referential parts and I'm so over Darlene's tears every episode. This is supposed to be a SITCOM, people! The parts with the real life Conners were cringe. I felt so bad for the actor playing Mark having to do it. Couldn't help but notice his growth spurt though! Maybe that's why his wardrobe was so blasé? Did anyone else think Emma Kenney looked rich trying to look poor, compared to everybody else especially?
  22. It's not a surprise that Adam Woodward left, but his presence will be missed. Someone that beautiful, being that talented. Some people just have it all. Must be nice 😂. I was genuinely surprised Warren was the one to kill him, bringing that to SIX people he has murdered. Still, great twist. Hopefully, he won't get away with it this time. Friday's episode was very schmaltzy surrounding the Cher storyline., another major sign of Kirkwood's style forming into Lucy Allan's, which is kind of similar to a classic Hollyoaks feel. I'm not some big Sylver/Mercedes shipper, her best pairing will always be Malachy, but I don't think I want to see her go through the same cycle with someone else so I guess I'm happy about their reunion by default. I have to add that I've really fallen in love with Juliet. Every time she scowls at someone, instead of being annoyed, I always find it endearing and hilarious. I even look forward to it. I also thought the Galaxy guest character was cool and very much of classic Hollyoaks move, too. I wouldn't be mad if they brought her back and built up the first Asian family. Probably thinking too much about it though. Maybe it's because she's my favourite, but anyone else see some chemistry between Mandy and Dr. Ali? I know he's probably the next villain, but something clicked in those scenes for me when he was treating her for her panic attacks. Which brings me to my next point ... there are so many single people on this show. I don't think it's a problem per say, just surprising. I even made a list ...
  23. Jake Weary does a fantastic job on Animal Kingdom. I'm so happy for his success.
  24. He's a major name in SportsTV journalism now. He's probably doing better than most people still on soaps.
  25. How would one define a vixen, especially in contrast to a villainess?
