Iris is stopped from committing murder

Amanda and Cameron are being held prisoner in this room and they hug tightly, then Amanda slaps him.

Amanda: Why did you leave?

Cameron: Come on Amanda, I’ve been here most of the time.

Amanda: Did Evan kidnap you?

Cameron: After I was onto him.

Jake is with Sharlene.

Jake: Sharlene are you okay?

Sharlene: I’m fine. How did you get here?

Jake: Frankie came searching for her natural mother.

Sharlene: And that lead you here?

Jake: Yeah.

Sharlene: Evan is behind it all. Grant’s shooting, Dr. Taylor’s and Joe Carlino’s murder.

Jake: I wonder what other surprises Evan has in store for us.

Elizabeth: Cory have you forgotten that Iris tried to have dad killed? She hired a hit man.

Cory: To SCARE him. Evan is the one who put real bullets in the gun.

Elizabeth: So that makes it okay right?

Cory: Think about it. Would you want mom to marry a guy who tried to kill her?

Elizabeth: That’s not the point.

Cory: It IS the point! Dad wasn’t always the doting father that you thought he was, and it’s time you faced that!

Evan: I’m not gonna let you kill my father!

Cameron: We figured everything out.

Amanda: That Evan was plotting revenge. He started that before you even came to Bay City.

Cameron: Joe and I were on to him, and Evan found out somehow, and shot Joe dead.

Amanda: Why didn’t you tell me?

Cameron: Because I didn’t want to put you in danger. I’d rather you hate me and we be apart than to know I’ve put you in harm’s way.

He puts his hands on Amanda’s cheeks

Cameron: Do you know how much I love you?

Amanda: Cameron…

Cameron: He forced me to sign those papers. I didn’t want to divorce you.

Amanda: Stop talking and make love to me.

Sharlene: Where’s Frankie?

Jake: I’m worried about her. I don’t know what he’s done with her.

Sharlene: You said something about her natural mother.

Jake: When we got here she was shaking out of her boots.

Jake: Then Evan confirmed it.

Sharlene: How would Evan know….it’s Janice. Janice is Frankie’s mother

Elizabeth: You’re gonna stop talking about my father like that.

Cory: I’m not saying he didn’t love us, and that I didn’t love him, because I did, but you’ve got to face the fact that he did some horrible things to mom and other people.

Elizabeth: I don’t wanna hear it! Dad was the best dad in the world, and NOTHING you or that bitch Iris says will change my mind about him!

Iris: It stands to reason. You are truly a demon spawn. Carl and Janice were two very evil people.

Evan: And you’re the angelic paragon. Where’s your halo?

Iris: I don’t think this is a time to be joking.

Evan: Look I get that you hate Rachel, but you’re not gonna kill my father to get back at her.

Iris: You hate Rachel just as much as I do.

Evan: You tried to kill him before.

Iris: I wanted to scare him. You replaced the blanks with real bullets.

Evan (turning around and looking at Carl): That was before I found out he was my father. I just want to help him get better.

Iris: I can’t believe what I’m hearing right now.

Iris walks out and Evan right behind her, and suddenly…
