Stefano is sitting in the living room of the DiMera mansion. Vivian walks into the living room, and puts her coat of the chair.

Vivian: Stefano! I was pleasantly surprised to get your call!

Stefano: I didn’t invite you here for a friendly get together.

Vivian: Well then, what is it?

Stefano gets up.

Stefano: Do you have anything to do with this?

He hands Vivian the letter which reads: “Not much longer”. Vivian reads it, and looks confused.

Vivian: What the hell is this.

Stefano looks at her.

EJ walks into the dining room in the DiMera mansion. He sees Taylor and Nicole sitting.

EJ: Good evening.

Nicole: EJ, I didn’t know you were coming.

EJ looks at Taylor.

EJ: Well, Nicole, aren’t you going to introduce me to your lovely friend?

Taylor gets up, and extends her hand.

Taylor: Taylor Walker.

EJ shakes her hand.

EJ: EJ DiMera. Walker? Any relation to Nicole?

Taylor laughs.

Taylor: Oh, we’re sisters. The best of friends.

Nicole rolls her eyes. EJ laughs.

EJ: Interesting. Nicole hasn’t mentioned you much.

Taylor: Yeah, well we’ve been a little distant these past few years, but now we’re closer than ever! Aren’t we, Nikki?

Nicole takes a sip of her drink.

Will and Gabi are sitting in the Brady Pub, working on their homework.

Gabi: So, how’s your aunt doing?

Will: Better. She got to go home, but has to stay on bed rest.

Gabi: At least her and the baby will be alright.

Chad walks into the Pub, and sits at their table. Will looks uncomfortable.

Chad: Hey guys. What’s going on?

Gabi: Just working on some homework. What about you?

Chad: Not much.

Will: Hear anything else from Stefano?

Chad: He’s still trying to get me to come over for dinner.

Gabi: What did you say?

Chad: I said no, but now I’m starting to think about it.

Will: Are you crazy!

Maggie is sitting in the kitchen of her house. She is holding a picture of him, and crying. There is a knock at the door. Maggie gets up, and opens it. Victor is standing outside, and sees Maggie crying,

Victor: Maggie, are you alright?

Maggie lets him in, and closes the door.

Maggie: Sorry, you shouldn’t see me like this.

Victor: Maggie, you don’t always have to be a pillar of strength. Sometimes, you can lean on others.

He sees the picture of Mickey.

Victor: Maggie, I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize until now.

Maggie: It’s ok.

Victor: If you want me to leave-

Maggie: No. Stay; if you want, of course.

Stefano and Vivian are standing in the living room of the DiMera mansion. Vivian puts the letter down.

Vivian: I have no idea what that is, or where it came from.

Stefano pours himself a drink.

Stefano: And why should I believe you?

Vivian grabs his drink.

Vivian: Stefano, as you should already know; I am one who comes right out and says what I want to say.

Stefano: Vivian, if your trying to play a little game with me, I suggest you stop right now.

EJ, Nicole, and Taylor are sitting in the dining room of the DiMera mansion. EJ and Taylor are laughing, as Nicole looks uncomfortable.

Nicole: So, who wants dessert?

EJ: Why do you look so tense, Nicole?

Nicole fakes a smile.

Nicole: I’m not.

Will, Gabi, and Chad are sitting at a table in the Pub.

Gabi: I need to go make a call. I’ll be right back.

Gabi gets up, and goes upstairs.

Chad: Why do you care about whether or not I have a relationship with Stefano?

Will: I’m your friend, Chad. Look what happened to all his kids! They’ve all ended up dead! EJ’s a complete sociopath! Lexie’s the only normal one. You really want to take that chance?

Chad: So, you do care about me.

Will: As a friend, and that’s it.

Chad: I’m not sure that’s it.

Kate is sitting at the bar in Chez Rouge. She sips her drink, as Bill sits down next to her.

Kate: Bill! Hi. It’s good to see you again.

Bill: You too, Kate.

Kate: So, how was lunch with Abby?

Bill: It was good. So, have you spoken to Lucas recently?

Kate: Yes. He’s doing really good in Hong Kong.

Bill: That’s good. We told each other we would stay in touch after mom’s funeral, but that didn’t end up happening.

Kate looks down.

Kate: Bill, I’m really sorry about everything. It all would have been so different if I had told you.

Bill puts his hand on Kate’s shoulder.

Bill: Kate, it’s ok. It’s in the past.

Maggie and Victor are sitting on the couch in the living room of Maggie’s house.

Victor: Maggie, I wanted to apologize for everything. I realize I was insensitive, and came on too strong.

Maggie: Thank you, Victor. You have no idea what that means to me.

Victor: I hope you can forgive me.

Maggie: Of course I can. You’ve been nothing but kind to me, and I thank you for that.

Victor looks at his watch.

Victor: Well, I guess I should be leaving now. You look tired.

They both get up. Victor gets his jacket, and goes to the door. He opens it.

Victor: It was nice, spending time with you, Maggie.

Maggie: Thank you Victor.

She kisses him on the cheek, and Victor leaves. Maggie closes the door and smiles. Outside, Victor smiles.

Stefano and Vivian are standing in the living room of the DiMera mansion.

Vivian: Can I fix you a drink, Stefano?

Stefano: I’ll do it myself.

EJ, Nicole, and Taylor walk into the living room.

Vivian: Oh look, your son carries around rodent’s these days?

Taylor laughs.

Vivian: And who’s this lovely girl?

Taylor: Taylor Walker. Nicole’s sister.

Vivian: Unfortunate girl. I’m Vivian Alamain. It’s very lovely to meet you.

They shake hands.

Taylor: You too.

Vivian: EJ, how do you keep company with this thing?

She looks at Nicole.

EJ: Vivian, I suggest you don’t talk about Nicole like that; in front of me anyway.

Nicole: Oh dear, has the witch put you under her spell?

Nicole: If there’s a witch in this room it’s you, you old hag!

Stefano: My God! What are you all doing here! Vivian, get out! I’ve had enough of you tonight! Elvis, go work on some business! Nicole, make yourself scarce! Oh, and Taylor, have a drink with me.

Taylor laughs.

Taylor: I’d love to, Mr. DiMera, but I really need to get going.

Stefano: Ah, too bad. Next time.

Taylor: For sure.

Taylor gets her jacket.

Taylor: See you all later.

Taylor leaves.

Will is outside the Pub, on the phone.

Will: Ok mom, I’ll talk to you later.

Will hangs up, as Chad comes outside.

Chad: Are you leaving?

Will: Yeah. You?

Chad: Yup. You want to go see a movie or something?

Will looks at him.

Chad: It’s just a movie, Will. I asked Gabi, but she can’t.

Will: Fine.

They leave.

Kate and Bill are sitting at the bar in Chez Rouge.

Kate: Well, we should do this more often.

Bill: I’d like that.

Kate gets up, and stumbles. Bill helps her get steady.

Bill: Are you alright?

Kate laughs.

Kate: I think I drank a little too much.

Bill laughs, still holding on to her. They look at each mother, and Kate smiles at him. Bill kisses her.

Stefano and EJ are in the living room of the DiMera mansion.

Stefano: See, EJ that Taylor; she’s a good woman for you.

EJ looks at him.

EJ: You don’t even know her.

Stefano: I get a good vibe from her! Much better than the women you pick!

EJ sips his drink.
