The Annual Masquerade Ball in Springfield...



Natalia is in another room getting ready.
Natalia smiles, "I can't believe today is the day that I finally get to marry Alan."
Mel sighs, "This is difficult. Helping my friend for her wedding to... Alan Spaulding."
Natalia sighs, "I know you have your issues with the Spauldings. But Alan has really and truly changed. In so many ways. He is going to make me that happiest woman in Springfield."
Mel smiles, "That's really what I want for you sweetheart. Where is Dinah at?"
Natalia sighs, "She might be a little late. She has a lot going on right now with her daughter."
Mel nods, "At least she's coming. Too bad Olivia can't make it."
Natalia nods, "It's a shame. You know Gus can't either."
Mel pauses, "Oh well..."
Natalia looks at her puzzled, "Your not thinking they..."
Mel shakes her head, "Let's not talk about this. It's your wedding day."
Natalia grins, "I'm going to be Mrs. Alan Spaulding."




Alan is in another room getting his suit on.
Phillip helps him with his tie.
Alan smiles, "Thank you Son."
Phillip sighs, "I know we've been through a lot. But I like Natalia. That's why I'm here today. For her. You aren't going to hurt her like your other wives."
Alan nods, "I wouldn't Natalia is my one true love."
Alan Michael walks over, "Well we're here. We are Spauldings and we may drive each other crazy but we are there for each other in times like this."
Alan sighs, "I wish your brother were here."
Phillip nods, "Well you can understand. A year ago he was going to marry Natalia and raise their child. Now things are different."
Rafe gets up, "I'm stepping out to have a smoke. I'll be back in a minute."
Alan looks as Rafe leaves, "I'm worried about him."
Alan Michael nods, "His mother is marrying his Grandfather. That's gotta be a weird for him."
Alan smiles, "Well today is going to be perfect. After years and years. I Alan Spaulding am finally about to marry the woman of my dreams."



Reva is with Chandler at a table.
Reva sighs, "So have you decided when you are leaving town?"
He looks at her, "I'm not sure. I mean before it wasn't a big deal. I just was going to wait for the real Annie Dutton to return. Now she did. But it feels like something is holding me hear."
Reva smiles, "This town will do that to you."
Chandler grins, "Or someone in this town."

Josh walks over, "May I sit with you?"
Reva nods, "Sure Joshua. No date?"
Josh sighs, "I do have one. She'll be arriving shortly."

Suddenly Jeffrey and Marah walk over.
Jeffrey looks at Reva, "I need to speak with you."
Reva nods, "Is everything okay?"
Jeffrey sighs, "It's about your sister."
Reva sits up, "Roxie?"
He shakes his head, "No."
Reva nods, "Cassie? What has she done now?"
Marah sighs, "She's in the hospital Mom."
Jeffrey nods, "I wasn't supposed to talk about it. But her doctors say it's become worse."
Reva is confused, "What has?"
Jeffrey sighs, "Her cancer Reva."
The whole table is silent.



Harley is sitting with Susan.
Susan looks at her mother, "I don't feel right being here."
Harley turns to her, "Why not?"
Susan sighs, "Everyone is here. And after what happened last year."
Harley scoots, "No. You can't talk about that ever again."

Dinah approaches the table, "Hello Harley. Susan I heard you were back in town."
Harley sighs, "Dinah I don't want to have any trouble tonight."
Dinah nods, "Me either. Today is my friends wedding. It's nice to see your boyfriend didn't attend. Did you break up after what happened?"
Harley sighs, "I don't see your husband either."
Dinah stares, "In case you forgot it's the anniversary of the night that someone murdered his sister."
Susan gets up and walks away.
Harley sighs, "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that."
Blake walks over, "Harley."
Harley jumps up, "Blake! You're back."
Dinah looks at Blake, "Oh Blake. Where have you been?"
Blake is somewhat speechless.





Shayne walks Marina to a table.
Marina looks around, "Where did Rocky go?"
Shayne sighs, "We had another argument."
Marina sighs,"Shayne this has to stop. Okay. I understand that you are hesitant about Rocky becoming a cop. But you need to let go. Rocky is a grown man who has decisions to make on his own. You aren't his boss."
Shayne nods, "I know that! But I can't just let him make these mistakes. I can't do that."
Marina looks at him, "Okay you know how I feel about you. So you know how hard this is for me to say. But you need to work on your relationship. You keep pushing Rocky away more and more. One day you are going to push him and he won't come back. Shayne just look for him. Before you screw up everyone's lives. Including this baby."
Shayne gets up, "Maybe your right."



Rocky is upset about everything going on with Shayne.
He walks down to the basement.
He sits on the steps and talks to himself, "Why? Why do I have to sacrifice everything I want for someone who treats me like crap? Does love have to be so..."

Kevin walks behind him, "So what?"
Rocky is startled, "What are you doing here?"
Kevin walks towards him, "I saw you run down here. I didn't want to but for some reason I had to check on you."
Rocky wipes his tears, "Well I'm good so you can go."
Kevin sighs, "Is that true? Are you giving up your dreams for Shayne?"
Rocky sighs, "I just have some things I want to do. But Shayne doesn't want me to have those dreams so..."
Kevin nods, "Like becoming a cop."
Rocky looks at him, "Exactly. Okay. I'm frustrated with the whole cop thing. But maybe he's right. No one really wants me to be a cop. No one will accept it. No matter how much I want it I need to deny myself the..."
Kevin looks at him, "Pleasure? You sure we're talking about being a cop?"
Rocky sighs, "Please don't do this."
Kevin sighs, "Why is it that every time we are in a room together the heat goes up? That we both break into a sweat?"
Rocky sighs, "I don't care. You think this is easy? To deny how much passion we have? It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do but I'm doing it."
Kevin stares at him, "Why? For you or someone else? What do you want Rocky?"
Rocky puts his hand on Kevin's face.



Michelle is sitting with Bill.
She smiles, "So are Billy and Vanessa celebrating their anniversary?"
Bill nods, "Yeah. Dylan, Mindy, Dinah, Maureen, and I all pitched in to send them on a mini vacation."
Michelle smiles, "Wow that's so cool. They've been together off and on for years. It must be amazing to have a love story like that."
Bill looks at her, "Well you have a good one."
She sighs, "Yeah. Danny and I had an amazing love story. I can't believe it's been 3 months since Danny died. I can't say I've gotten over his death. But it gets easier. Everyday. And my children just make such a difference. Also knowing that Marina is carrying Danny's child just, gives me so much happiness."
He puts his arm around her, "You have got to be the strongest woman I know."
Michelle shakes her head, "I don't think so."
He nods, "You are! You are just so amazing. You have two kids that you take care of. And you still help me out with Emma and Harlan."
Michelle grins, "You're a great father. Those kids are lucky to have you."
Bill nods, "I'm glad they have you too."
The two smile at each other.

PART TWO:


Jeffrey is explaining to everyone, "Cassie has had a brain tumor for some time now. She kept it a secret and it progressed."
Josh looks at him, "Why didn't she try to get it removed?"
Jeffrey sighs, "The tumor was causing her visions of Tammy. She didn't want to lose them."
Reva has tears in her eyes, "But you said she's in the hospital? Why?"
Jeffrey nods, "She finally agreed to have the surgery. But there were complications."
Josh is confused, "Complications?"
Jeffrey continues, "At one moment... they lost her."
Reva gasps, "Oh my God!"
Jeffrey sighs, "They were able to revive her but... she has some serious damage. She's fallen into a coma. They are going to wait a few days before..."
Josh looks at him, "Before what?"
Jeffrey looks at them, "They will go over the options."
Marah looks at her family, "We need to keep it quiet for now. The Spauldings might use this against her."
The family is worried for the estranged member.


Harley hugs Blake, "How have you been? Where have you been?"
Blake sighs, "I'm good I just had something that I had to do."
Dinah scoffs, "Well Clarissa missed you and so did your Sons. What was more important than your children Blake?"
Blake turns to her, "Dinah. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"
Dinah smiles, "Clearly no one has filled you in on what's been going on. I have to go get my dress on for the wedding. Excuse me."
Blake is confused, "The Wedding?"
Harley nods, "Alan and Natalia."
Blake nods, "Oh wow. Well I hope he's good to her. She's a sweetheart."
Harley looks around, "I'll be back I have to look for Susan."
Blake is confused, "Susan?"
Harley is gone

Ed bumps into her, "Oh hey Blake. How are you?"
Blake smiles, "Oh hey Ed. I just got back in town."
Ed nods, "Oh where did you go?"
She sighs, "Just doing stuff for work."
Ed nods, "Oh. That's nice."
He starts to walk away.
She walks behind him, "Where did you think I was going? To see Ross?"
Ed turns to her, "What are you talking about?"
Blake sighs, "Don't play dumb with me Ed. That's where I really was. And you much like Phillip and Rick, new Ross was alive all along."
Ed and Blake stare at each other for a moment.



Jonathan, Aubrey, and Liz walk in.
Aubrey goes to put up her coat.
Liz turns to Jonathan, "Listen. We need to talk."
Jonathan nods, "Okay sure. Let's go..."
Aubrey walks over, "Oh I'm getting dizzy."
Jonathan turns to her, "Are you okay?"
Aubrey sighs, "Could you just help me sit down?"
Jonathan walks her to a table.
He looks to the waiter, "Could you get us some water my wife is pregnant."
Liz stares.
She now sees them as a husband and his pregnant wife.
Can she really break them up?
Is this her karma for what she did to Tammy?
Liz walks away.
Liz walks down the hall, "I don't know what I was thinking. Even if he leaves her, Tammy will always be the love of his life. Maybe some people just aren't meant to have a true love?"
Liz goes to the steps.
Her heal breaks and she falls.
Before she hits the stairs a gentleman catches her.
She looks up, "Thank you... Remy?"
Remy sighs, "Hey Liz. Haven't seen you in a while."
Liz nods, "Yeah welcome back to Springfield."




Michelle smiles at Bill, "I love playing with your children. I mean Emma is growing up so fast. And your baby boy. He is just as cute as his Daddy."
Bill nods, "Your kids are great too. I mean Robbie is a funny little man. And of course Hope is growing up to be almost exactly like her mother."
She sighs, "She is a lot like me. She has already had a parent pass away."
Bill nods, "And now my Son is going to be like me and grow up with one of his parents out of the picture."
She turns to him, "I know this is going to sound strange. But does it ever seem odd how our lives have both sort of.... I don't know went through simaler ups and downs leading us here?"
He nods, "Oh you mean like how my wife and your husband were doing a business deal we knew nothing about but were brought together on after your husband died and my wife went into a coma."
She nods, "And we were each left with a couple of kids. And doing the one thing we swore we'd never do. End up like our parents."
Bill smiles, "But our parents don't have what we have."
Michelle looks into Bill's eyes.
The two kiss.


Rocky looks into Kevin's eyes, "I know how I feel. You know how I feel. But..."
Kevin nods, "Shayne doesn't know or care."
Rocky shakes his head, "You don't even know him."
Kevin sighs, "I know you. You didn't plan this Rocky. Neither did I. But it is happening. It's fate.
Rocky backs up, "No! No."
Kevin looks into his eyes, "Ask yourself. If you think it's good for anyone if you stay in a loveless relationship with Shayne. When every bit of your heart is screaming my name?"
Rocky sighs, "I don't want to fight this anymore."
The two start kissing.
Kevin takes a deep breathe, "This feels right."
Rocky smiles, "I know."
The two are making out against the back wall.
Shayne sees the basement door is open.
He steps in to see if Rocky is there.
He takes one step and goes into complete shock.
It's dark.
But he sees his fiance Rocky kissing another man.
Then he sees.
Kevin Marler, the man who attacked Rocky.
Shayne's body fills with rage.
He steps back out before they notice him.
He stumbles back.
Shayne runs out of the building.
He is out by his car.
He punches the door.
Still in complete shock he remains speechless.
Marina runs over, "Shayne. Shayne what's going on?"
Shayne turns to her.
In all of his passion he pulls her into a kiss.


The wedding has begun.
Natalia and Alan are standing together.
Mel and Dinah are behind Natalia.
Phillip and Alan Michael are behind their father.
Rafe holds his baby brother on the side.
Natalia starts her vows, "Alan. When I came to this town I was looking for a part of my past I never thought I'd see again. And then I met this big billionaire. Who was so intimidating. I had this whole plan for my life and you weren't in it. You had this dark side that scared me. But through God we got through our obstacles. Now it's our wedding day. And after this we will spend eternity as one. Now I am going to be your wife. Forever. You are the love of my life Alan. Now and Forever."
Alan wipes a tear, "Natalia. I want to say I've had weddings before. But nothing like this. I have never had anything like this. Our relationship has changed me. I didn't want to change. Which is why I resisted you. But now I can hardly remember who I was before you. Now I feel truely happy. And complete. Who would have thought I'd have Great Grandchildren before I'd meet the woman I was meant to be with. I am done being Evil Alan Spaulding. Just like the angels in heaven. You are an angel on earth who is looking out for me. Thank you Natalia for freeing me and making me happier than I have ever been. I finally feel like I can have true happiness. A curse is broken today. You are the love of my life Natalia. Now and Forever."
Father Ray talks, "Do you Natalia Rivera take Alan Spaulding to be your wife til death do you part?"
Natalia nods, "I do."
Father Ray turns to Alan, "Do you take this woman to be your wife til death do you part?"
Alan grins, "I do."
Ray grins, "By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss."
Alan grins, "I love you Natalia!"
She cries, "I love you Alan!"
The two kiss.

Reva Shayne is leaving early.
She bumps into a blonde woman in a mask.
She apologizes, "Sorry I'm in a hurry."
The woman stops, "Reva..."
Reva turns and accidentally bumps the woman down the stairs.
Josh runs over and helps her up.
Her mask falls.
Annie Dutton stands before them.
Everyone is in shock.
Blake and Harley gasp.
Phillip stares in shock.
Dinah turns as well.
Alan can't believe his eyes.
Reva has a sense of deja vu.
Annie Dutton has made her entrance.
