Season 4's casting has been going through major changes. New guest stars are appearing as well as a new recurring member. Guiding Light supercouple Tom Pelphey (ex-Jonathan) and Stephanie Gaschet (ex-Tammy) guest as soap opera actors Abhram Heller and Elise Brandine from the fictional teen soap opera Wellington Arbor to present an award to Carlos (Jordi Vilasuso) who so happens to be an ex-GL star as well.

One Life to Live star John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) guests as reporter Mark V. Lavoisier is in talks with the show to possibly come back as Mark for another episode since the character now has ties to bad boy Bryan Daniels (James Franco). Franco's character is planned to be taking a leave of absence very soon but will return from time to time.

Days of Our Live star Deidre Hall joins the recurring cast as Dr. Elizabeth Reed. Hall's character is a psychologist who helps Carrie (Sarah Lancaster) and Dylan (Matt Bible) figure out why Carrie's been acting like she's ten years old.

Creator Matt Politylo comments on what's to come for the new season. "This season is a bit darker and though we've already seen the loss of a few characters it's a soap opera so of course anything can happen. Especially with these characters, not to mention anyone in particular, but deaths are never final in this private college!"
