SONBC INTERVIEWS ROSCOE BORN
SONBC- Well welcome back Roscoe!!! What is this, the 18th daytime serial you've been cast in?
Roscoe Born- Actually, Santa Barbara was my 2nd soap originally, I was on Ryan's Hope prior to being cast on SB.
SONBC- But this is 'RTSB.' It's not your mother's 'Santa Barbara.'
Roscoe Born- My mother actually was more of a P&G soap fan- As The World Turns and Guiding Light were her favorites. But I know what you mean. Howe

He smiles and says that it's time that everything be put in place so he, Kelly, and everyone else can live "happily" ever after. Kelly enters the room, able to catch the last part of his sentence, and he hurries off the phone.
"Happily ever after huh? I thought that was already decided on our wedding day, Mr. Lavery."
"Oh, it was,

SONBC: You're back and man, what a rousing start. I LOVE how you end every episode with a cliffhanger. THAT is what the on-air soaps should be doing.
Greg: Thanks so much for the compliment. I'm quite proud of my first two episodes. The hardest part about writing is getting started. But now that I have, I'm roaring to go!
SONBC: Tell us about Joann. She's been an enigma for some time now, mainly arguing with Gina and working for Capwell Enterprises. Yet on this last inst

Can anyone tell me who wrote this scene? It's one of my all-time favorite SB clips. Everything Cruz says is so poignant and true to life. I miss writing like this on soaps.

You guys are gonna have to settle for just the repeat today. I had forgotten about a round trip drive I had to do to Gainesville today to get some dental work done, so I'm just too exhausted to write the new one. But don't worry. I'm gonna post some fun stuff for everyone's enjoyment tonight, starting with a repeat of Episode 40, one of the classic 'RTSB' episodes and certainly one of my all-time favorites. And the brand new 'RTSB' episode WILL air tomorrow (check out the updated SCHEDULE on the
Well, 'RTSB' fans, the moment you have been waiting for has ARRIVED. On TUESDAY, January 15th, 2013 (the 20th Anniversary of the demise of our beloved 'Santa Barbara), the SONBC-Award winning Blog, 'Return to Santa Barbara' relaunches. And from what we learned in this interview with creator juniorz1 aka Greg Ziobrowski, it's going to be a doozy. Shocking returns, plot twists, new stories being launched, and MANY of the ongoing stories of this extraordinary fictional continuation of SB either wr
For those of you who missed it the first time around, I'm repeating our very first 'RTSB' Christmas episode, written in 2006. Though it aired 6 years ago, this is the Christmas that will be played as if it had transpired 6 or so months before. When we pick up 'RTSB,' it will be in May of the same season we were in, so there is no loss in story nor timeline, and of course, there will be NO FLASH FORWARD!. That is the laziest gimmick I've ever seen writers use in order to push their stories to

I have decided that it would be fitting to bring back "RTSB" on the 20th anniversary of the show's final episode. The day before, I will repeat and do an updated version of my original "Dream" episode that undoes ALL of Pam Long's writing from 92-93 and makes fun of it.
There will be brand new, bonus scenes added to that episode and the next day, "RTSB" will RETURN!!!!!!
Can someone please post the exact date in 1993 that SB aired for the las

Merry Christmas RTSB fans! Today, for Christmas, my dad is giving my mom a brand new laptop. Why is this significant you ask? Because I will be receiving their old one and setting up service in my apartment. Therefore, as promised, I can finally go back to writing 'RTSB' again full time. Once again, I will be using the upcoming weeks to re-read much of what I have written and continue on with no loss in story or flash fowards- we're picking up right from where we left off! I CAN'T WAIT to
I can't give you guys lots of details but here's what I'll tell you:
I've moved out of my house and will have no computer access in-home until mid-September so RTSB is on a brief hiatus unfortunately.
BUT....
When we return, there will be a schedule every week that I will be 100% sticking to.
AND....
I'm going to revive "Talkin Santa Barbara!"
Only this time....
I'll be interviewing guests!!!!
And not just any guests....

RTSB SUMMER PREVIEW
Hey everyone! I know I've been behind in posting episodes, but I will be rolling them out again this week, starting with Episode 101! In any event, I wanted to take this time to give out a preview of what to expect this coming summer. I'm really excited about everything I have coming, as I have much of it planned out in my head. So here goes:
CC/Sophia ("Loretta")/Edmund/Pamela
This storyline is the one I'm most excited about right now, as many of m
