She jumped the gun by quitting so soon...she should've at least given the new writing team a chance. Poor Matt. I feel so bad for him.

I honestly don't think Matt and Missy will ever return to Days full time, so we'd better enjoy the next 2 months as best we can.

I have never been a big J&J fan, but MA is a great actor. Days has treated him like crap. He deserves much better. If I were him, I would never return even if they begged me too.

2. ) Everyone has his or her price.

3. ) Neither are young in regard to the bizz this day and age. It will be harder and harder for both to land gigs. If they want a gig, and DAYS is offering it, they'll take it.

If neither of them are working, I could see them returning for special occasions (Abby's wedding when it happens, holidays, etc.) They basically drag out Doug and Julie for occasions like this, anyway... and Bill returned to Salem when Jen got married in 1991.

Matt needs to go somewhere where they appreciate him. Jack & Jennifer are Day's best couple imo. at least Jack will probably leave with his soulmate Jen.

Sorry but this is not Melissa's fault. Days could have kept Matt around, there were so many theories on this board alone, that Jack could have stayed in Salem and been a single father to Abby and so on.

I read this yesterday and have been shaking my head ever since. This is crazy. Matt is a wonderful actor; they are lucky to have him. Why couldn't they pair Jack with Billie?

I must be the only one here who is happy about Jack being written off. Oh well...lol

I have never liked Jack. The only time he was cool with me was when Mark Valley was

I'm so over it. Getting Jack off the canvas is a great move. I won't have to fast forward thru the show as much now. I think Matt is a good actor. I really do. I liked him as Tom on GH and as the Music Box Killer on OLTL, But he just grates on my nerves on Days. I can't stand it when Jack says "Jennifer" 100xs per episode.

I am sorry for all his fans that will miss him. It totally blows when one of your favorites is written out.
