I haven't watched the clip yet but I disgree with this statement completely. The ACLU supports everyone's right to free speech, even the the opinions we don't like.

We have those people on my college campus like ALL THE TIME. One actually refers to himself as "Moses." I don't like that they protest at funerals(that disgusts me), but they are given the right to speak. And if not, those people will sue for freedom of speech being outlawed.

I used to get mad, riled up, etc. but I just find it hilarious that people argue with him. He tells EVERYONE that they are going to hell. He wants to elicit that response.

If no one argues with these folks or even give them the time of day, then they would go away and retreat to their boring lives.

And it doesn't surprise me that the ACLU defends this behavior. This is the SAME organization that supports child molesters and other criminals.

Again, the ACLU isn't defending what they are saying per se, but their right to say it. They are an extremely important organization that has been involved in a lot of important cases including Brown v. Board of Education and Roe v. Wade.

That's the problem. Their "God Hates Fags" schtick was getting old and ineffective (and let's face it, probably risky) at Pride events so the way to stay in the news is to picket the funerals of fallen soldiers. They were supposed to come to Canada about 5 years ago but were told, essentially, that there would be no guarantees they'd be allowed in and possible short term detention.
