400 BAD REQUEST

Featured Replies

I'm back to getting 400 BAD REQUEST pages all over the place -- both on my phone and also on my laptop. On the phone, it happens on both the app and on multiple browsers. I get it on both Chrome and on Firefox on my laptop, but was able to get through using Edge.

I'm at a loss with what to do. Sometimes I get the home page, but the links lead to the 400 message.

    Haven't gotten any(So far)

  • I've gotten this over and over and over and over on Chrome today. And as always on Edge, which is why I barely use Edge. This is the worst it has been for me in many weeks.

I've been getting this a lot lately on Chrome (I don't use Edge for the site anymore as it almost never works).

I have been getting the message consistently on Chrome for a couple of months, at least. Can't get past the front page. Thankfully, I haven't encountered any problems on Safari.

I've gotten this a couple times over the last few days, most recently this morning. All on Safari. I clear my cache and sign back in and it works again, but a bit annoying having to do each time.

I’ve been getting this consistently for weeks on Safari, I have to use private browser but even that is beginning to receive the error and fail to load.

In fact I received the error just trying to make this post lol

I, too, have been dealing with this issue, and it's still due to a bloated cookie. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it, but currently the only way to bypass it is to delete your cookies when you encounter the issue.

In Chrome, I did the following:

It happened to me too, and I cleared my cookies and I haven't gotten the message since.

While I still get it fairly often, I wanted to take the minute to say, your shorthand issue (clicking on the lock in the https:// and clearing the cookie (mine shows two, so I just click 'remove' of the second one on my list) from there has been working for me. So thank you. :)

I've been getting the 404 Bad Request several times today - both on Safari and Edge. Almost every 4th or 5th click.

I've been getting the Bad Request error daily for a week now on Safari. Anyone else having this problem more often these days? I clear my cache to fix it, but it comes back the next day.

I did get the max connections error once, a couple days ago, but thankfully a simple refresh took that away.

I've been having this message come up basically without fail for quite a while now. Today was the first time I tried to browse the boards in a few weeks, and I guess the whole site was down for a bit this morning. I'm attempting to make this post now, and hopefully it goes through! I've done every fix that has been mentioned in this thread and elsewhere, and if any of them ever worked for me, it was only temporary.
