Summary of an October 1971 episode provided for a viewer who was unable to catch it.
On the night of the murder of Jasper Delaney a guard has seen a long haired youth acting fresh. Sam supposed that it could be Randy. The Friday scene is at the Riverboat, where Gerald Davis gives Randy a document which entitles Randy to receive 5% in shares from "The Riverboat" and 'The Lady Luck". Randy again says that the $20,000 came from a legacy from his late uncle.
Another scene shows Ike and Marsha. Ike had proposed marriage to her, she is still too upset about Pammy. She cannot give her answer yet. Lawyer Sam Lucas asks Gerald Davis of Randy's whereabouts on the night of the murder. As Davis was out-of-town on a business trip he has no answer. Asking to speak to Randy, Gerald offers Sam the use of his office, and when Randy enters Sam is reading the document which made Randy a partner of the Riverboat. Asking where the $20,000 came from Randy answers "none of your business" Sam speaks of Jasper's murder. Asks if the $20,000 is the reason. Then the show ends for the week in another suspense.
