It’s been just about a year now since these headwriters have been credited onscreen and their reign has been a disaster. The only good material they wrote was due to a real life situation - Drake’s passing and writing that into the show. The rest of their material is just plain dull. The show is not interesting. They write a good scene here and there but there is no cohesiveness to the storylines. I’ll take Ron’s writing anyday over this dullness. Time for another plan to save Days, Mr. Corday.

Overall, a good day, but trivia night? No thank you. That's about as bad of an idea as a bookshop.

I don't mind the trivia night. It's silly and Leo was obnoxious. I also can't stand Jada/Theo together. I can't put my finger on why, but they don't work for me at all. He has much better chem with Gabi and even Arianna#1 and she has better chemistry with Shawn.

Yeah, Jada and Theo do not work for me, either. It seems like a holdover to see if they can get Brandon Beemer back on set and retry that pairing for the one hundredth time.

Trivia night with sleep inducing background music coupled with dull scenes = boring show. Filling airtime with no long term purpose. Days has gotten so bad. There is a lethargy to the show. A bunch of scenes put together. That’s what Days has become.

It's like they just see who's around to film a few scenes with Dan Feuereigel and/or Greg Rikaart on whatever sets happen to be up, and they write the 'stories' based on that...

It doesn't seem like Theo even likes Jada lol. And Jada overcompensates to please him. It's a weird relationship and they have zero friendship or romantic connection. It seems like the writers just thought, "oh, they are both Black. They have tons of things in common", but they don't.

I like trivia night too. It’s a good way for characters to interact.

But I do think more things need to happen at them; an argument or a fight or a big reveal. Something.

And yeah, I’ve never been a fan of Theo/Jada either. If anything, they should’ve established that Theo is only going on dates with Jada in order to get over his feelings for Gabi. Or that Jada is just lonely or something

Exactly it. Probably thinking it clicked with Eli and Lani and hoping it will click again, and it does not.

This would honestly be a good time to bring Claire back and make it messy with Jada/Shawn/Theo/Belle/Claire, but the show won't lol.

I might check out the Liam episode only because the show is really boring.

Overall, today was a bit of a mixed bag though. And there was a little too much Leo again. But I didn't expect Dimitri to show up today and that was a nice surprise. It was great seeing him put Leo in his place again. I wish it had gone on a little longer. And I'm really interested in seeing where Dimitri goes from here.

As for Javi revealing to Leo that he has a new boyfriend, it seems to me like they were trying to make Javi the bad guy in those scenes, but I don't think that's gonna work loI I wonder if we'll be seeing the new bf onscreen.

Xander/Kate was the best part of today. I like them together as businesspersons/schemers. Kate finally had someone to talk to about about what all her scheming could do to her marriage and I'm glad that she got that chance. And Xander, having Kate investigate why Theo resigned as CEO of Dimera could lead to something interesting happening. The same could also happen if and when Gwen finds out that Xander is actually just using her in order to find out what EJ is up to. But I did feel bad for Xander again when he saw Brady and Sarah together

As for Johnny/Chanel, I basically felt the same way about them today that I did yesterday. They were sweet but they could use a better storyline. But at least Johnny looked hot again 😍😂

Kristen/Sophia was just a waste of time.

Glad Leo is getting hammered by both Javi and Dimitri, but again, Leo is on way too much.

Isn't it a little soon for Javi to have a new boyfriend lol? Leo deserves it, but it's only been a few months. And the show keeps saying Dmitri and Leo "broke up". Were they ever actually together post-Javi?
