Seeing Kat living with "The Grands" reminded me that during the first couple of seasons on The Bold & the Beautiful, 3 out of the 4 Forrester kids lived at home. I wish the Duprees had a dining room though. It's inconceivable to me that a wealthy Black family wouldn't ever share even the occasional big family dinner.

I admit that has crossed my mind as well. Given how close the Duprees are, it is shocking to see. And just me thinking about growing up, we were always around the table or in front of a TV together as a family. And yes, there might even be some drama. The Duprees are missing out. lol.

This is the suggestion of yours I liked. On the surface it seems like traditional soap opera stuff like your other suggestions. However the fact that black people are involved is what subverts things. The uncomfortable and frustrating subtext of violence happening at a bougie black event. The fact that Smitty, a white gay liberal would be shot would make it even worse. The Duprees would worry about Smitty of course. But the way that the Duprees would have to try to clean up the publicity of that would be frustrating and very real.

Sidenote: Someone in a youtube comment described Caroline as Bill's henchwoman. I would be interested in a social climbing Caroline deciding to go after Bill for herself. Caroline vs Hayley and Caroline vs Dani would be nasty ass feuds.
