Finally, Theo is out of the hospital!

I thought he was used pretty effectively today. I enjoyed his and Abe's conversation about Stefano and Lexie. It was a really nice family moment. And I also enjoyed Gabi confronting him about what he said to JJ about her and Philip's relationship. I did see some chemistry between them too. Nothing explosive, but I think there's something there.

And there was also something there between Gabi and JJ as well. Their scenes were nice too. Gabi, being curious about whether or not JJ was on a date with someone tells me that the ship hasn't sailed for the two of them. I hope that, if they go there with a big Philip/Gabi/Theo/etc. mess, JJ has a part in it as well. It would be a much better way to use him than how he was used today, even though I didn't hate the idea of him tailing Jeremy and then arguing about it with him and Julie later on. And I liked that JJ let Julie know that the way she's defending Jeremy is similar to the way that she defended Nick. She definitely needed to hear that lol and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next, despite the clunkiness of the stalker storyline, as a whole. Jeremy and JJ looked good too.

As for EJ/Gwen, just like with Chad/Cat a few episodes ago, I think I would've enjoyed their scenes more if they had involved any character other than her.

But poor Liam though. I'm glad that his character is finally getting some movement but at the same time, I don't think tying him to Peter and the kidnapping was the right choice. I didn't expect him to be the one that had moved Stefano's bones though. But I did kind of expect him to not be a direct or willing accomplice to all of that, and I'm happy that I was right. And that it looks like his character isn't going to be completely ruined. There's so much that they can do with him/Hank Northrop and I hope that we get to see that for him sooner or later. Maybe something good will happen once Theo finds out... and that it'll somehow be tied to the potential mess with Gabi and everybody.

Cannot stand this Theo. A recast is needed. Otherwise, the show is still dull. The actors are sleepwalking through their scenes. They deserve better writing.
