I don't want to see Anna's twin Alex. I don't wan to see Anna entwined with Faison/Peter/Nathan/Obrecht plots. I'm okay with Mac having raised Maxie, so Anna being Mac's sister-in-law and Maxie's aunt, but the Scorpio connection to Maxie is my limit -- keep her out of Faison family cr@p.

I don't want to see Anna loving or crying about criminals!

Anna Devane was my first favorite soap character, back in her first few years.

But I only want to see Finola/Anna as a STRONG vibrant intelligent kicka$s woman who fights for what's great. If GH won't do that, then let Finola shine elsewhere.

I hear you, but are you saying because they've known Vanessa all their lives, they should/have to support her? Do they really need to move further down the road to see what Vanessa's doing?
She's with the guy who's a casino mobster. They know how bad Joey is. I know Dani and Nicole have had questions about that relationship, but that seems to be in the past.
Also, these sisters have both been badly burned by cheating in their own marriages. Now they're able to look beyond Vanessa's cheating because they've know her since forever. Oh, that's right, Doug cheated, too, with his mistress "gambling." Vanessa can play her victim card, but I'm not buying any of it.

Well, a) I don't think GL needed to write in Zimmer's pregnancy. It was the easier option, and the show certainly milked it for nearly two years with the paternity switch weaved into the Sonni/Solita saga. But on the other hand, it also moved Reva past the troublemaker phase, which arguably, they could've also leaned into longer.
b) the haste with which Malloy jumped to AMC (wiki has his AMC debut in Feb) suggests he might've already been feeling out an exit strategy.
Although I do understand he might've been fed up with his stories spinning around babies. Even shortly after his arrival in Springfield, he was helping Reva deal with losing HB's child.

But isn't that plausible given that the impression that the show has given is that they have known Vanessa all their lives. If anything, that fact is ripe for conflict down the road due to what you stated about how much power Vanessa has been amassing.

Please read my most recent post. I tried to clarify how I feel about the white chief of staff.
I realize I responded to you and said I disagreed, but since then, I've been thinking about it, and I realize you have a point. I'll wait and see, but I am concerned.
Did it take me a moment to see what you see because I'm white? It's hard to dismiss that, because I come with my own set of biases even though I work really hard to fight them.
I am sorry you feel you stand alone in so many ways. All I can tell you is that I know white privilege is a real thing, and I know that has benefited me throughout my life. That means POC have not received that same benefit, and that will never be OK.

Referencing another hospital head administrator on a P&G soap, Rex Whitmore never took a paternalistic tone when speaking to staff. Even if it got messy. Perhaps they are setting up this new admin for the next murder mystery. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm not concerned about the chief of staff being white -- yet -- although I reserve the right to change my mind depending on how she wields her power and position.
Joey is far more problematic, and so is Vanessa. I know I'm more upset about their power than most people. I don't expect white people to be expunged from Fairmont Crest, but I am bothered that Joey has so much control over Black people and has so much over their heads.
Same with Vanessa, who now knows the secrets of the wealthy and powerful Black people in town who somehow need to use her whorehouse to get sexual partners. I also hate it that Dani and Nicole are so pro-Vanessa in their support for her.
