The fashion showdown between Eric and Ridge.

(This was not a runway fashion show. Instead, the set-up for that week was an exclusive preview of designs for visiting buyers and special guests at the Forrester office, with some modeling of the dresses, and a ballot polling of the attendees as to whether they preferred Eric's or Ridge's designs.)

Guest stars included: Marie Osmond as "Countess Van Frankfurt", Elsa Esnoult as her character "Fanny Greyson" from the French TV series Les Mystères de l’Amour, and Big Brother alum Taylor Hale as a model.

Tracey Bregman and Kate Linder crossed over from Y&R.

"Eric and Ridge watch with excitement as the models walk through the crowd, showcasing their hard work and exquisite designs."

Jeresa Featherstone (now head costume designer at BTG) was at B&B back then, and she made this video about the October 2023 fashion competition:

Jeresa shows the detailed fabrics as the dresses were created; and points out that although some of the ball gowns wouldn't be her personal thing, she had to be consistent with what Eric Forrester would design.

What struck me about that 2023 fashion competition:

• The absurdity of Eric supposedly dying but hiding it from most of the characters, whilst the viewers assumed the death wouldn't happen.

• Many persons of color as U/5 buyers and guests at the showing, and Paris and Zende appearing -- all of which was in the promotion for those episodes -- to give the illusion that B&B is diverse.

Well at least the new B&B studio location will have a place for runway fashion shows in the future, instead of this type of thing cramped into the office.

She faked the miscarriage so when they do the autopsy on the fake Luna body it won't raise red flags. I guess the guard helped her fake it.

I haven't started this past week yet, but I did roll my eyes at Luna managing to escape cuz...WHY??? They really ran out of things to write for her didn't they?

I do admit that I don't mind the Spencers being the focus of story for the moment. It's a nice change of pace.

While I think Carter/Daphne are cute, it is sad to see Carter back in C PlotLand.

For me...outside of Sinn and enjoying the new sets, the only thing holding my interest completely has been Taylor/Deacon/Sheila.

I've felt more everything with Deacon when he's with Taylor than anything the whole time he's been with Sheila. He comes alive with Taylor

I totally agree. lol. SK has definitely had some more of Deacon's swagger when he's with RB's Taylor.

Of course, it's not KA, but those two have had me come around to them.

You know Sheila is a ticking time bomb.

Starting the episode with a wet Finn with Steffy, Katie with Bill, and even young love with Will and Electra...not bad.

I don't trust this show -- at all. Was it intentional that we never saw how Luna escaped, or did they realize they couldn't make it look realistic so skipped the escape completely? Scenes can be written any time to fill in those blanks.

Lisa Yamada announced her exit, but that's meaningless. We've seen that before. Didn't Tanner Novlan announce his departure as Finn? Meaningless.

Is it ridiculous to being Luna back? Of course, but we've had plenty of ridiculous with this show, including Finn, and Eric and Liam miraculously escaping death, and don't get me started on Sheila.

Do I think they know how they're bringing her back? LOL I don't. I don't think Brad works that far ahead.

The biggest problem is that Luna is a MURDERER. She killed two people. How you redeem that, I don't know. But we all know Brad Bell doesn't care if we think characters have been redeemed.
