TV alert:

Drew Garrett, who played Michael before Chad Duell, had a nice role on Law & Order:SVU last week.

If she gets the house, I'm happy for Tracy but I wish she could kick Brook Lynn out.

Olivia, Tracy has never liked her anyway, so that's a mutual issue, but Brook Lynn - no excuse.

I am so glad Rory Gibson played the moment where Michael told Tracy that Monica left her the house the way he played it, with a certain warm smile. He could have played that in a much colder way.

Another reason I’m happy Monica left the house to Tracy and no one else is that Michael still goes by Corinthos and hasn’t disowned the man that killed his father. It would be highly insulting for the Quartermaine mansion to be owned by a damn Corinthos.

I knew it was short-term but it was so great to see ES back on a soap again. I'll be sad to see her leave.

I have to say, when it comes to male eye-candy, I think GH is at the top of the soap list these days.

I have to give them credit for the last few days. Those scenes between Lucy and Tracy hit just the right notes, playing on history, their own dynamics, the intelligence of both characters and showed Tracy’s growth. As @DRW50said, Rory played that scene with genuine affection and warmth. I actually was moved when he said Monica left the house to her. It’s a touching tribute to the history of the Quartermaine family, and Jane’s importance to the show. Gio calling them his family was also a nice scene.

I also liked Laura’s scenes with Sidwell. I agree there are problems with her support for Sonny but this is GH and that’s just not going to change. So within the universe they exist in, it was nice to see her stand her ground with Sidwell, and hopefully this means she will be included in that story.

Britt working with Dalton and Sidwell ties things together nicely. All the Brad talk makes me a little nervous, because I think his time has passed and if he comes back it’s yet another person taking time away from the actual players.

Also have to say, I LOVED the scenes with Gio finally accepting he’s a Quartermaine. It’s going to be great scenes with he and Tracy when he lets her back into his heart.

It’s nice to see ES again, but this Ronnie character in the end has felt like it could have been played by any regular older actress. It would have been more interesting if she was a true piece of vile work that  was willingly colluding with Martin and Drew to screw with the Q’s (maybe she shared a past with Alan or Tracy), instead of this mousy older women who was forcibly blackmailed by Martin.

I truly loved having her and I don’t mind that Ronnie got in over her head after Tracy was so damn rude the second she met her. I’d probably want to put that same woman in her place too if it were me.

It's a matter of time if not days or weeks. This team has a specific thing for the 'fan favorite' duo of Britt and Brad, who I've never liked.

Oh my, the show actually had a pay off today?! A story they set up wasn't left dangling or forgotten  but had a conclusion!? A rare moment indeed.

It has been nice seeing Erika Slesak, and Jane Elliot has been great, especially in moments where she remembers Monica. But the writers could have done much better with the story, like having someone who has a real history with Tracy be the one behind it, not this pathetic nobody Martin.

That's an interesting idea. Other than Larry Ashton (again), I'm not sure who they could have chosen. Maybe someone from her mob boss days?

I don't mind the idea of Ronnie being manipulated into scheming by Martin, but I don't know if the story had enough time to build to that point and I don't think Martin is the most believable of hardcore schemers.

It would also mean they could have Marco go fully evil to pair Brad/Lucas up again.

I saw a promo of Joss being told to get close to her "uncle's boyfriend" and then her being friendly to him in a ridiculous manner. Before I remembered he's gay I had a simultaneously hilarious and horrifying vision of her inadvertently sleeping with him and Lucas getting in a slap fight with her a la Willow.
