Hayley said she never knew Jacob had another brother bc Naomi never talked about him. Um was Hayley not around for the wedding? This timeline is all out of wack

EVEN if Naomi never mentioned him bc he was the black sheep, why wouldnt she have not talked about Luke whom is on good terms with the family?

Yes, it didn't feel right. While still plausible, I think it odd that Naomi never mentioned Jacob's brother or as you mentioned saw him at the wedding.

Totally agree.

I thought it was when she said the door was open.

Also shame on security for allowing her through. Chelsea was just kidnapped there 2 months ago. I know Eva isnt on anyone's guestlist. Chelsea doesnt have PTSD anymore? She should have been more botehred by Eva showing up

Twitter was doing the most as usual regarding this episode.

Nobody is right or wrong in this Kat/Eva rivalry and thats what makes it good.

They've never said how long Naomi and Jacob have been married but Hayley "befriended" Naomi a year ago from when the show started.

now that I thought of it more, it doesnt make sense. We were told that Hayley used to live at the Hamilton house and thats how she orignally got close to Bill and how Dani was like a second mother to her. That made sense bc Naomi presumably was living in the house too. However if Hayley only met Naomi after she was married and living with Jacob, why would she live with Dani and Bill? That doesnt make any sense to me. And even if she wasnt at the wedding, if Naomi was her best friend, you'd think she'd have seen pics of it and of course the brothers would have been mentioned

I was always under the impression that they hadnt been married long, like maybe a year or 2 before the show started.. We were led to believe Naomi and Hayley had known each other much longer though before the recent rewrite

Personally, I feel that somewhere along the way they changed the timeline. My assumption was that Hayley and Naomi were college friends, but now it seems like they met much later in life.

Also, Ted is a horrible father to his kids with Nicole. That man is never present. He should have talked to Kat about wanting to have Eva call him dad - not looking for her approval but at least giving her the heads up knowing what a sensitive situation this is.

Eva isn't even trying to monopolize Ted so I don't get what Kat's problem is. That "whatever it takes" line suggests that Kat is going to start scheming big time and end up looking like the villain.

And the Kat stans are going to get even more irate if that happens.

She's in her feelings bc she feels disconnected from her family. Martin just ripped her a new one, Nicole barely supports her and Ted is an absentee father. Her reaction to Eva calling him dad isnt rationale given that he's built a relationship with her but from Kat's perspective it came at the expense of the one they used to have. Ted just hasnt been present in either of his other kid's lives and that includes his grandchildren. Kat feels it the worse bc she's the one thats been personally affected by Eva's presence and watches her manipulate everyone around her while gaslighting Kat in the process

Hayley never lived with Dani and Bill.  That was an assumption that some viewers made at first, understandably.  But the dialogue never actually said that.

Hayley was an adult friend of Naomi's who would visit Bill&Dani's home, perhaps for Sunday dinner, and maybe other meals, or whatever.  She had presented herself to the family as a young adult orphan. (But she was apparently actually older -- due to what we know of the Hayley/Randy convo about their prior history of scam operations).

Hayley hung out at Bill & Dani's home, more and more frequently, but never lived there.   Hayley wormed her way into being *thought of* as a member of the family, and she got Dani to befriend/mentor her.  Characters referenced her being in the heart of the family in such wording that some viewers thought she lived there, or was adopted.  But the characters meant that only figuratively.
Eventually Dani recommended that Bill hire Hayley at the law office.
At some point, while Hayley was visiting, Bill sneaked Hayley into the master bedroom, and they had sex in the bed that he shared with Dani.

Throughout his marriage to Dani, Bill had several affairs or hook-ups with various women, which Dani knew about.   Dani tolerated it because he never brought the women home.   Presumably his cheating was in the office back room, at the ladies' homes, or at hotels, etc.   Hayley was the first women he brought into his bed at home.

Now that we know Hayley's villainous agenda, I guess that Hayley probably engineered/manipulated Bill into bringing her into his bed at home -- so that Dani would find out and divorce him.

The timeline is made even more confusing by the fact that I can't wrap my head around the ages of characters like Kat, Eva, Martin, Naomi, Ashley, Andre, Derek, Hayley and Jacob. Like how old are they supposed to be? Naomi, Jacob, Derek, and Ashley give of 30-something Millenial energy, but I think they are supposed to be in their 20s.

-- Amazing how June has gone from paying for lunch with Monopoly money to dispensing words of wisdom. I have grown fond of her, though.

-- Izaiah needs a lawyer, so Tomas agrees to meet him immediately at Uptown? Such an agreeable attorney.

-- While I can't defend Kat at all saying she'll end things with her father, if I have to choose sides, I'm still Team Kat.

-- Eva has done MULTIPLE awful things to Kat -- things Kat knows about as well as things she doesn't, like the covering up for her mother. I can understand why Kat hasn't forgiven this girl who not only upended her life but who has done terrible things.

-- Tomas is garbage, but that's beside the point. He's Kat's garbage. Eva trying to steal him and then screwing him is bad. Many families never come back from that.

-- Much of this is on Ted, who hasn't handled any of this properly, it at all. Neither has Nicole, frankly. Do now we have daughter Kat acting like she's lost her mind. Gee, I wonder why.

-- Eva lost me today when she barged into a house uninvited. No, "The door was unlocked" does not make it ok. This is Eva taking ownership of something that isn't hers, and that's what Kat sees: someone taking what isn't hers.

-- Calling Kat a bitch once was understandable. More than once? Does she think she's Cardi B or Nikki Minaj? Yeah, Eva, we know you learned from your criminal mother.

I would say that Kat, Eva, Chelsea, and Izaiah are all early to mid 20s.

Andre and Tomas in their late 20s. I would put Luke Hawthorne in this category as well just in case he's the middle child.

Jacob, Naomi, Ashley, Derek, and Hayley in their early 30s.

Martin and Smitty mid 30s.

Dani and Vanessa in their mid to late 40s.

Nicole, Ted, Bill, Leslie, and Elon in their 50s.

and so on.
