Next update solves Facebook, Instagram and Threads issue, meaning auto embeds will be available which will help alleviate the issue where posters can’t use HTML:

I changed the front page design because threads aren't visible to posters. Activity is way down with the equivalent version of the old design in place. This other design allows at least five topics per forum to be seen, particularly on mobile. Otherwise, nothing changed anywhere else.

This! It changed the whole look of the board and not for the better

I'm having a moment adjusting to it too. I'm too old for such a big change 😁🤭🤭🤭

It's the standard layout for Invision. I explained why I'm using it above in response to @Soapsuds .

Please keep in mind that while not every design is acceptable or appreciated by some members, I have a job to do: keep this place online. My time, energy, and resources have been largely wasted over the last couple of weeks, despite some enthusiasm from a few posters about the updates. I can't afford to continue letting this place drain me financially without making changes wherever and however I can to grow the community; otherwise, it'll have to shut down in 2026.

The smaller icons made the board look better, these are huge. Maybe can we reduce the size of them a bit?

I'm so thankful for everything you do Errol! Can't thank you enough. Don't know how to thank you enough! We'll adjust to the new layout and love it even... SON is our home away from home.

I understand the change, but it also makes every forum viewable, voiding the ability to collapse certain forums that may/may not want to be seen.

Maybe a happy medium? I like big icons but those are ginormous for this board
