Yeah, I know, everything on this show sucks.

Victoria Rowell is just as fabulous as I remember her being 20 years ago. She reminds me of Brenda Dickson but a lot less unhinged. How is she not on a soap? 

Is that LA restaurant actually outdoors? Through the slats on the back wall I saw a person walking in the distance. Maybe it's on the studio roof?

I'm impressed with the hospital set -there's a corridor, waiting room and Noah's room.

Some new sets and faces makes the show slightly more watchable. But as soon as we return to Cane/Phyllis...

According to SC in her new interview from yesterday there is going to be a bunch of new sets. We shall see I guess?

Nevermind, someone beat me to posting the link.

I actually wonder if the new sets are the ones we saw already, the bar and the hospital, which is much better than the GC hospital.

Which is more in reference to the sets we have seen: the reimagined Genoa City hospital (for L.A.), and the nightclub that Sienna runs, etc.

It is the Genoa City hospital, though. 🤣 Just reimagined a bit to be slightly different for the purpose of L.A.

And... it looks better. They made it look much larger than the corner they use when it's in GC. They must have set it up with the intention to use it for a while.

That’s also why I included “we shall see” in my initial comment because I have no idea if this is all we are getting or if there will be more, and neither do you for that matter. 
 

I don’t mind the L.A night club. It’s cute. It’s nothing special, but it’s fine. I didn’t exactly have high hopes for the set usage for L.A after what we witnessed earlier this year for the Dumas storyline. In some ways though, I’m just thankful we aren’t having to see the same 4 or 5 sets and atleast getting something different.

Its great how they set our expectations so low that we get excited about staring at a different background for a month while they sit and talk about nothing!

The waiting room is a cut-paste from Genoa City, but with the sliding doors now. As for the hospital room, it is not that much different. Just a few cosmetic changes. It is not like Genoa City is using it anyway, since doctors are not allowed. They need to go work for conglomerate companies.
