I could never stand this person and never understood how she made a ‘name’ for herself.

Add me to the list of people that doubts she's even watched more than couple of episodes. The whole thing sounded like she has no idea what she is talking about. I don't know what her previous level of writing was, since I've only read one or two things from her, but this piece about BTG is very dull and uninspired.

If you are going to go for brave titles like this and act like you are going to be making some high and mighty dramatic reappraisal, then lady please watch the show.

Today’s FB post by Marlena referred to Maya on B&B as a “transsexual” again. It’s TRANSGENDER. The woman hath not a clue it’s 2025.  You’d think kiss-ass Alina would gently correct her.

Connie keeps deleting my comments. She’s only slightly edited her column. We still have her misinterpretation of a “bondage lesbian wedding” and use of the offensive term “transsexual.”

Whos writing this dreck?  Ed?  Alina?  Nigel the Ghost Beagle?

Time for…retirement.

I think she's still living in 1989 when there were 12 soaps on air and vaguely keeping up with one or two episodes per week on VHS was enough to print out an article. It's obvious she maybe at best has dipped into the show during the first few months and haven't found it as engaging, but gets all the wrong takes on what's off.

There are certainly things that I think could be fixed with BTG (noteably I think they haven't gotten the pacing right), but her article isn't going to fly with soap fans today. It's not like there's a lot of soaps these days to keep track of.
