Taking it on the chin from Thomas & Steffy is 100% in character for Brooke. Her goal is to get Ridge, who has a major blindspot for Steffy & his degenerate son. Hence, she treats them with kid gloves. I didn't have a problem with Brooke quickly forgiving Ridge for calling Hope a bitch either because Brooke almost always puts her romantic goals above her children.

However, I do have a problem with Katie & Hope not calling out Brooke for this. With Hope, I can suspend some disbelief as she may not want to rock the boat being newly back to work and otherwise occupied with her Liam drama. Katie has no such excuse. IMO, Katie has been the worst written character for a while now. Glaringly so in the past month. Every line she's spoke since advising Will to not tell Electra about his blackout night should have been delivered by Donna.

Brooke pre-lobotomy (sometime in the last decade) was never that pathetic of a victim. She would have moments where she would take it, yes... but then she always made a move that turned everything in her favor. She used to be very crafty and unpredictable. And she would bite with words so hard that you could feel the venom dripping. Brooke would not just stand there and blink, she would have something to say. That's my point.

Other than that I agree that Katie is horribly wasted. Katie should not be even on speaking terms with Brooke if you ask me - Brooke was getting orgasms by her husband while Katie was flat-lining in a hospital. That's a relationship-breaking thing IMO, sisters or not.

LOL!!!

If this storyline was happening 20 years ago... I would say Taylor right now... would suddenly feel nauseated and we'll hear she is pregnant 5 episodes from now. Just as Brooke is planning her wedding with Ridge. God... now as I think about it... Bradley Bell is crazy enough to write this even in the character's 60s. 😂

But... Nah... I think she is done. I have this gut feeling this was not a good sign. I call this "The Hunter Tylo" curse and that is anyone who attempts this role... is done in a year or two.Maybe we'll get a 4th Taylor in the future. 😆

Well as long as she doesn't get Broken Heart Syndrome again I guess.

Or the HPV virus 😂 Because we all know Brooke's history and where that mouth has been for the past 4 decades... and men are usually asymptomatic.

I see it as a sign of tactical maturity. Ridge was amused by her methods with Stephanie or whatever other woman he was seeing, but it repels him when she calls out his kids. So, I see her placation as being just as crafty as she always was. I'm sure in her mind she thinks she can bite her tongue until Thomas goes back to Paris.

That said, I'd much prefer more of the unpredictable Brooke you laid out but that would mean a break from the Ridge pairing, which I'm 100% for. Pair her with Finn's Dad and make Steffy have to play nice with her for a change. Even another round with Bill or Deacon would be a good change of pace.

First of all, SHUT UP, ERIC. I liked the way that Nick's presence spiced up the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle. Now that he upped and left, it's back to more of the same. And NO I'm not here for Thomas being sacrificed used to do the same. There were other ways to do it. I will give props that the Thomas/Paris's breakup was a result of the Grace storyline.

All the latest Luna scenes are doing is reminding me how much I wish Ally was in her spot. Ally always gave good vixen vibes. And nothing against the actress, but BB has sadly written her into a corner. Again. And this time...there's no way to write her out of it. She can go.

I did like the scene with Taylee and Li. It was something different.

Very well said. Can't stand Katie. What was with that "you should always count on Ridge!" stuff. What?!

I love how Brooke was literally just standing there, just existing, when Thomas felt the need to go lecture her about accepting Ridge and Taylor. While Taylor was arguing with Ridge how Brooke is manipulating him, Brooke is just sitting in her office (pathetically) waiting.

They really should just lean in to Taylor being evil. Wasn't her Broken Heart Syndrome diagnosed by that fraud, Dr. Buckhingham? Didn't Taylor buy Steffy a baby on the black market? Instead of having Taylor lecturing Ridge about Brooke, they should have Taylor revealed to have paid off Dr. B.

I agree. I wanted this (Dangerous Single White Female Taylor) the moment I heard from AMC fans that Budig could play bad girl very well. I think they could lean into that right now... especially if they don't want to write her off.

The current situation is just too sad for her. I almost teared up when she was sobbing and saying "I knew this would happen." Even through the bad writing, Budig managed to make me feel something.

I really still can't believe this "engagement" was broken off so fast. IMO this feels like a rewrite. But we'll see.

That would be great.

I still don't understand why Bradley Bell has declawed Brooke and given her nothing but beg Ridge or crying about Hope for the past 5 years. KKL still looks as hot as ever and could still rock a scandal or two if given the chance. Hope as the seductress (the attempt to turn her into Brooke) was a huge mistake and backfired given the character's history.

I would hate to see Brooke remembered as this boring woman who just constantly stood there and took it, even if it's perceived by some as her maturing or being tactful. Maybe I'm not being objective, but I believe Bradley is not capable of writing maturity.

IMO, Brooke should have never let go after they made her CEO. That was the moment when Ridge betrayed her with Taylor, she slapped him and pushed Taylor out the door. We all remember that. It was the best episode of the show in 5 years. That was THE MOMENT  all of us were waiting for. She then... had to completely take over the company and start a vicious campaign against Ridge and Taylor old-school style. She should have channeled her 1993 bitterness and vindictiveness. They lost that chance and instead turned it to Brooke crying for 3 months about how she wants to return the company to Ridge (while he is penetrating Taylor).

So disappointing. All of this could have been a new chapter for Brooke, an era to re-invent the character, but No... Bradley stuck to the tired cliches.

Honestly, it's time to call a spade a spade.... Ridge is an abuser (apart from being a rapist and a general douchebag). Not a physical abuser, but a mental abuser. He has abused Brooke and Taylor mentally and emotionally for decades by now and I don't think either of them are capable of breaking this vicious cycle without outside help.

Saw the new (from last night) Hunter Tylo podcast in 2.0 speed.

The only thing that struck me as interesting was that she revealed she in the process of writing a new memoir that she promised will be unfiltered. 🤣

I won't lie... I may buy it if it comes out. I'm known to enjoy stuff like this.

Hollis should have been that outside help for Brooke. That man was capable of so much. 🤣❤️

For Taylor I think the only cure would be a long stay at a mental health institution. I don't think she can afford to risk another broken heart syndrome episode.
