Leslie rescuing Chelsea would give her a redeeming quality, but she would sure enough brag about it to annoy the Duprees.

Leslie showing up today really does make me want her to be the one to somehow rescue Chelsea. The Duprees heads would literally explode for the third time in 2 weeks.

That and Unhand Me Demon I am Ethereal had me on the floor. Count me in too as Leslie being the one to rescue Chelsea. 

Social media is such a pill when it comes to Leslie but I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to her.

Like that literally needs to happen. She needs to run into Allison during this food run and follow her

Canadian viewers, I read that after Sept 1 that CHCH will no longer carry Beyond the Gates. A few Canadian viewers confirmed it on Twitter 

SMH at Ted not showing up to support the family. Whats his excuse? Nicole filed for divorce? And? Hayley showed up to support Bill and she ran the risk of all the Duprees cursing her out and dismissing her but she was ready to take her lashings and be a supportive wife. And as messy as she was trying to be, even Leslie showed up

Nicole would be irritated at fist but she'd get over it and I thnk she'd actually appreciate him being there, maybe even let her guard down and let him be her rock. Kat most definily would want her dad there to help even if its jst brainstorming and going out there looking for Chelsea. Bill is his friend, heck he just had dinner with him before this went down

Unfortuantely I think the next time we see Ted, he will be having a conversation with Eva about how Chelsea's kidnapping makes him think of all he time he lost with her and that he'll vow to be a protective and loving father for her

The writing for nu-Ted continues to disappoint. Maybe he’ll show up today but I’m not holding my breath.

I often wonder what was the actual point of the recast when they've literally done nothing to him but just completely assassinated his character

I maintain my theory that Keith was the first choice for Ted but either declined initially or was unavailable.

Ted will probably show up at some point. Chelsea is his children's cousin and also Kat's best friend.

She's also his niece and he's been in her lie since she was born. Divorce aside, they've even acknowledged Bill being Kat's uncle. Ted should be feeling somthnig for Chelsea and those involved

i really loved that nicole set aside the antagonism she feels to sympathize  — even empathize — with haley’s (likely) ‘loss.’ 

i was hoping that anita could have done the same with bill — genuinely acknowledge the situation at hand.

which would mean that what we’re seeing now is how mvj always envisioned the character, which is such a letdown from original version ted. 

never understand what to make of that. 

Yeah, I also believe in the 'first choice' theory as well. 

 

Which is why I won't be here for a 'straight man, wacky woman' relationship with Silk Press Sheila nor any form of a soap triangle with him, her, and Nicole. Old Ted just had it for me.

Ted the character wasn't going to change no matter who was going to play him. People were just attracted to Maurice and let that cloud their judgment of the character. I'm of the mind that they're breaking the character down to build him up, but people dont have the patience to let the writers do that.

tbf, I myself have patience because I love slow burn, but they really have not done much with Ted since the anniversary party except be there for Eva. And that's nothing against Keith because I do love his buddy scenes with Doug and Andre...I even see chemistry with TMG...but he's just...there.
