now that Maxie is skinny again I expect they are gonna be writing heavily for her once more. And I'm still wondering if Nelle is coming back. GH should try to snatch Linsey Godfrey from DAYS as a recast. She is such a talented, charismatic young actress.

They might write for Kirsten Storms, but not in next few months. . .
Have you read Kirsten Storms' update?

The actress had some charisma  but the writers could never write to it or to her talents. Instead, it was a lot of ridiculous darkness and seemingly always being gaslit. And then last fall, they went to all the trouble of retconning her to finally make her relevant, only for her to be out 9 months later -- like so much of GH, it was all a total waste.

I've got to agree. Mattson has a very likeable screen presence, and I think there's a place for a character like that on a soap. At times, she reminded me of a next-generation Felicia (another character who doesn't have many family members on the show, but who still feels like a vital piece of the Port Charles canvas). But the show rarely played to her strengths, giving her a lot of implausible backstory (e.g. Sasha as reluctant con-artist) and saddling her with a lot of stories where her main role was to suffer. At least she now has a kid related to a major character and family, so there's a non-trivial chance that, a year or two from now, we'll be reading "GH: Actress Back!" spoilers.

I found Sasha likeable, but boring.  I wouldn't be surprised if she returned as well.  It's so odd she left before she found out Willow was messing with her and Daisy although I am glad I didn't have to see another Sasha is crazy story.
