Can you elaborate more on Amanda's restrictions?

She is a practicing Orthodox Jew, keeps kosher but none of that impacts her on the show. But what does is that she goes by a "code of modesty". These are practiced by people in different denominations or belief systems. There are many differences. At GH it is my impression that they were led by her & it sorta got made as they went along.

Eh, I wouldn't say Amanda has ever used her religion as the focal point.  She is an Orthodox Jew and practices a modesty code, but has also said things like she respects her marriage and partner and Josh's partner and doesn't want her kids to see "sexual" content of her on the internet.   I absolutely respect Amanda's religion and beliefs, but she's continually building it up to be something not about religion just her own, personal choice and JS is just along for the ride being respectful of her beliefs.

Josh's wife did a joint interview with him. Josh's father and grandfather are ministers. Josh and his wife said they have the same pact, to not show sexual content with others in their acting gigs. I don't want to elaborate further now as I've already posted it in the past.

Katelyn MacMullen was SUPERB today as Willow. Those courtroom scenes were devastating, and she pulled it off. The writing was good -- we wanted that victory for Michael. The curveball was that the writers also wanted us to feel for Willow. KM made that work, and she hould be praised for those scenes.

I did not realize Katelyn had that in her. Willow is a weak, damaged character—raised in a cult, easily enthralled by sleazy men—but we’ve never seen her unravel like that. It was a genuinely upsetting scene, and I admire KM for reaching that level of intensity in, I assume, the usual single take.

Yes, I think we have all seen the interviews or at least us that have been around here long enough.  It was never framed as specifically about religion from my understanding of the videos (and everyone can form their own opinions).  Josh was shirtless and had multiple sex scenes with Willow on GH.  So totally fine.  AS and JS have a personal deal about how they want to frame their content.  ON A SOAP OPERA where romance is key.  I don't think acting is the right job for you if you are that serious about religion and sexual content and I don't think that's an unfair point of view.    Maybe ministry is a better choice for Josh if he feels so strongly about it all.

Putting aside just the love scene content which is actionable enough, they did those amazing reveal scenes with Gio and BLQ storms in dressed like Michael Jackson on the Dangerous tour. It's got to stop.

That jacket was a choice.....I have nightmares.

No, she just dresses like that on this show! Like it's summer '91 and she's about to hit the road with MC Hammer!

She was fantastic. And I would’ve felt bad for her if we hadn’t been shown time and time again that she literally can’t think for herself since getting with Drew. I loved her line before she collapsed as she looked at Drew. “You said we would win.” She hasn’t had a rational thought of her own in like 10 months now. She decided it was her and Drew vs the world and now she’s lost her kids.

My mom is in her 70’s and dresses more youthful than Amanda. It’s one thing to dress modestly, it’s another to have zero fashion sense at all.

I have felt for a long time KMM(? we can't say KMc beause people have used that for Kimberly McCullough forever) has more to give than the saintly princess routine they had her doing for years. Willow's incredibly sharp, nasty edge with Nina during the Humiliation Tour era for the Nina character after she got with Sonny made me think about the whole faking cancer thing we all kept bringing up, and Willow's only gotten sharper since the Drew saga began. It's the flipside to her saintly act and it fits the deranged circumstances of Willow's upbringing while also echoing a personality type we all see everyday. Which is why I would absolutely let Willow go full woman scorned and become the next Susan Moore, Katherine Bell, etc. type on the show for at least several more years to come - a young, smart, scheming bitch on wheels. Probably blackmailing Congressman Drew Q into marriage after finding out he was schtupping her mother - and maybe shooting him first and framing Nina for it. Then when she gets backed into a corner she can really fake her cancer coming back!

I wouldn't keep her around forever, but I do think Willow has several more years to run in the right environment with sturdy writing. I would never have said that before with the milksop character she'd been playing for far too long.

I guess I will call her KMac.  I agree with everyone saying she is doing great.  Even during the most boring parts of her run I always thought KMac was at least a serviceable actress.  I am stunned to say I find Willow interesting these days.  I never would have thought.

I can't believe Lois of all people would raise such an unfashionable daughter.  Brook Lynn's clothes aren't just modest and ugly they are also completely unflattering, but I have ragged on Setton enough the last 24 hours lol.  Willow and Sasha dress fairly modestly (IMO) and look age appropriate and normal.

Circling back to the custody scenes, the Willow actress was working for her check that day! This is the most interesting the character has ever been.

It was irritating to keep hearing Willow say "my children" when one of them isn't even hers. That should be a cautionary tale in allowing step parents to adopt children should a divorce occur.

It was also refreshing to see justice be served. If only it could've been Carly screaming "don't take my kids away" to AJ, 25 years ago.

This was also a repeat of history in that Michael and Willow were in a custody battle against Nell for Wiley---which should have made him even more cautious about granting someone else custodial rights.

maybe I haven't been watching Maxi's scenes but she seemingly slimmed down seemingly overnight. She looks fantastic.

I switched on ABC to see if the news also pre-empted GH like they did with BTG - and dang, Ryan Lavery and Tad Martin are on! I thought for a second we had AMC back! :P
