Loved the episode today. looking forward to the fallout.

Nubian-Sheila looked fantastic, but I wish the writers would cut back on her overuse of figurative language.

I loved the "fix yo mind ministries" line though. The background music during her fantasy confrontation with Nicole was epic.

I still see Alfonso Ribeiro as Carlton when Martin gets angry.

The way I took it is that he did not want to confirm or deny anything until he talked to Nicole first. He was very calculated with the wording he used with Martin and Kat

He a dirty dog! Those are his kids and he hurt everyone. At this point he needed to just come clean. I can't believe I was lusting over this man! I hope they aren't quick to forgive.

Nicole is way too smart to not know she was carrying twins - she's a doctor! My guess is that Leslie did abort her baby out of fear, and as payback, stole Ted and Nicole's child (Eva), and stole Kat from another family to replace her in the hospital.

I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes.

Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.

I absolutely loved the last few episodes—devoured them!

If Trisha and Ambyr’s performances aren’t Emmy-worthy, I don’t know what is.

I wasn’t bothered by the lawyer girl not being at the gala from the start, or the grandkids being absent, or Vanessa being MIA. It just goes to show how unnecessarily huge the Dupree family is. And like Toups said, you can’t cram the entire cast into a single episode.

Oh and the cue when Leslie was having that fantasy was epic, very DAYS-like. They should keep it and develop it  

Minor nitpicks:

• Yeah, Ted seriously needs a recast—been saying that since day one. I still don’t know where he stands, and he just comes off as a generic nice guy.
• Not having Ted and Bill share a single scene since the show started? Huge missed opportunity. And not having Leslie get anywhere near Bill in one of her wigs? Another big miss. It really weakened the impact of her big reveal about Bill’s involvement. Now it just feels a bit like fan fiction.
• I’m totally confused by Vanessa and Doug’s “arrangement.” One moment it seems like they’re in an open relationship, and the next Vanessa acts completely shocked when Doug so much as hints at her “distractions.” Huh? Can anyone explain what’s going on there?

Ted getting recasted before Martin is crazy work lol.

I don't know about that, I think BC has mostly improved by leaps and bounds. He's not perfect but he's come along a lot.

Oh, really? Did Tomas leave for his home planet? How about Ashley or Derek? I got time.

Is Tomas a main character? Are Ashley & Derek tasked with doing any heavy lifting? Are they onscreen everyday or are they recurring characters?

I think the party reveal was what made them recast Ted since they saw he couldn't handle it and the fallout. It'll be interesting to see if the same will happen once Martins secret and the ensuing fallout is set to happen - it might give an indication with how far their patience for green newbies is.

I gotta say, the actress that plays Kat brought it in these episodes, just as much as TMG and Ambyr. 
 

 

Love that score and hope they use more of it. I’d call it “Leslie’s theme” lol
