The Gio reveal that he is both a Q and a Falcenari will cause upheaval, but I bet Monica's upcoming death will bring the families back together

I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio
BLQ wanted her son to be happy.
Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family.
Selfish?  Yes, but I get it
Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family.
Lois followed BLQ wishes
Great acting by AS & RS

Agreed! I normally don't rate Amanda Setton that highly as an actress, but she knocked those scenes out of the park. Between this and the Michael storyline, I think we're in for a week of juicy drama.

I heard everyone talking about how dull Rory Gibson was on Y&R, but I thought he was pretty good today playing a steelier version of Michael. And I loved Wiley's little "Bye mommy!" moment. The writers clearly know how much most of us hate Willow if they're tossing out little nuggets of schadenfreude like that one.

I also get why Gio feels his life was a lie. I get everyone's emotions are high now

That's why I think Monica passing will be the catalyst that starts to the healing process for Gio, BLQ, Lois, Tracy, Ned, Olivia and Dante

As usual, Jane Elliot stole the show.

GM was good as Gio as were Rena, Dominic, and Amanda.

I also thought the actress that plays Emma was low key, but perfect at the same time-just listening and reacting.

Blame: 90% Lois; 75% Lulu.

Today I finally said, JANE ELLIOT Just go ahead & give her all the awards! She blew my mind. But, I still say that there is no one "bad guy" in this story. You can see so many people's points of view. What I like most about this gigantic umbrella storyline. I've been a daily watcher of soaps since the 1970s & this may be the best I've ever seen. I said same last week &  now I'm saying it again.

In a way GH has had their foot on the gas since February sweeps, non-stop & I have a sneaking feeling they're not gonna put on the brakes until July sweeps.

What is left to reveal? Sex between Nina & Drew. Joss being WSB. Who killed Cyrus? Who killed Jagger? Who killed Austin? Is Sonny leaving the mob? Will Natalia be killed? Okay, I've just gone too far, back it up to "mob".

So, show of hands, who here thinks Michael cut his treatment short? Sasha asked was he in pain? And he replied, Nothing I can't handle. So, he is & he did. That means Carly was right. I know people hate that.

She always does. She is aces. Top three actresses on this soap.

When she showed Gio the picture of Lila and Edward and said these are your great-great grandparents I might have shed one single little tear.

I welled up, definitely. She got me with that one; it's only a shame these writers cannot bring this on a more consistent basis.

Yes.  I won't be able to articulate this correctly, but Tracy's delivery to Gio was almost clunky and perfect.  Gio didn't really understand how important her parents and their legacy is to her.  It was so Tracy.

Also, if I knew I was related to Lila I would immediately just sit in her rose garden and make vases and vases of beautiful roses lol

What an hour of soap opera television.

-- It doesn't get much better than this. Every actor delivered in every storyline. There's so much blame to be placed on so many characters for their mistakes, yet it's impossible not to sympathize with them.

-- When Tracy looked at Gio after hearing the news about Dante and Brook Lynn, iT was just another example of the excellence of Jane Eliott. All it took was one look to make an already good Giovanni Mazza even better.

-- My heart broke for Gio, but you have to feel heartbreak for Brook Lynn and Dante, too, unless you have ice in your veins.

-- Cody's understanding and sympathy for everyone was real and sincere. Lulu was into her "Well, maybe in the long run this will all be better," but Cody understood that part of Lulu's reaction was a defense. She made mistakes, but she never wanted to hurt anyone.

-- Neither did Lois, who's going to get it from all sides and take the brunt of the blame. I don't think she'll get any relief from Ned. Rena Sofer has been great at expressing her pain.

-- Rory Gibson is off to a good start as Michael, and is expressing more emotion than he did in his entire run at Y&R.

-- I didn't mind the Trina and Kai "first time" scenes. Those scenes were well-acted and nicely directed, and some goodness was needed in a show with so much heaviness.

GH is on a really good run, and every day has been must-see TV.

Absolutely ridiculous that three soaps are going to make me watch today's episodes.
