The red carpet was so lame and cringworthy.

The biggest fool in PC is the last to arrive. Wish everyone in PC would stand in line to slap Willow in the face for being so dumb.

The best part of the episode was Alexis finally telling her psycho daughter Kristina that her days are numbered.

Every time they do a Nurses Ball red carpet it breaks the (already precarious) internal logic of the show. I get that some of these people are local public figures but, like, is Carly famous?

What are all these media outlets covering this event? Are we supposed to believe even Port Charles’s local affiliates are airing *live* coverage of this event? Who is watching this?

Why are Nina and Drew being interviewed even as they’re hosting? And so forth.

Yes.  Are any of them famous?  I suppose Drew and Laura would warrant an interview because they are politicians but he's hosting.  Lucy and some of the acts also make sense to interview, but it's not like a world-famous supermodel is there.  She wasn't invited lol.  Why would anyone care about Cody and Molly?

I also wonder where this airs.  Years ago, when Britt and Liesel? Brad? were watching it on tv it looked like a Public Access channel like those local stations everyone gets.

Going back to the MS Nina days she has hosted on and off.  I don't get it, but it's always been a thing.  Drew hosting perplexes me.  I think it loosely has something to do with Aurora, but he's not involved in that anymore, right?

I think the whole red carpet stuff looks cheap and ugly.  I liked when they just showed a montage of the couples and people arriving during the first scenes of the Nurse's Ball.

I apologize for the absolutely awful quality, but Alan singing and people coming in looks much better.

    • Derek is a BUM! I cant beleive he tried to crash on Jacob's couch. Ashley herself is super annoying and IA, acts like a child. They both are insufferable in different ways
    • Someone called her "Crashley" cause she crashes out about everything and boy is that ever true! I feel sorry for Derek and she needs to go, he at least has chemistry with a few people(not her)

    • I'm surprised they haven't introduced the owner of Orphey Gene's. Since their inspiration for it seems to be partly from General Hospital, maybe they could introduce an Aunt Ruby type to run it.
    • It does, doesn't it, lol?  It seems like Peter couldn't even go to the bathroom without Pat threatening to do herself in. Were the Pollocks writing the show at that time?  Because, if they were, that might explain why so much of what I'm reading sounds horrible.
    • I watched almost all of this, in real time, with no recording devices and nobody in real life to discuss it with.  I didn't have soap magazines, so I had no way to fill in any episodes I missed.  But most of this is very familiar to me. Hard to believe it's been 49 years!  I remember all of this except for Matt McAllister.  But I do remember seeing a clip of Matt McAllister in this thread a few months ago.  I remember Jenny being a nun but I don't remember anything about her having been a missionary in another country. It would be an exaggeration to say I remember it vividly -- it's tiny bits of memories from decades ago, so it's now quite fuzzy in my mind.  But when I was watching, I felt it vividly -- I guess I can say I remember my own vivid emotions that I felt while watching.
    • I remember the arrival of three Webber siblings, and I liked Terri.  (I know the Terry on GH most discussed by viewers was 1980s Brock's daughter, but this was someone else entirely, and a decade earlier). I think I remember Terri as having reddish hair?  so I just googled the actress but can't find any color photos from that year. (I don't remember Pat Lambert at all)

    • Sadly, that was more than some African-American characters get on soaps today.
    • I've been rewatching old episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on ParamountPlus.  There are times when Captain Sisko visits his father in New Orleans.  Sisko's father runs a restaurant with specific local New Orleans cuisine, and we actually see and hear him recommending specific dishes to the restaurant customers.  I can almost smell the aromas. I'd like to see occasional mention of the menu at Orphey Gene's Soul Food Cafe.  Someone orders something, or mentions how much they enjoy something.  They named Orphey Gene's after MVJ's mother.  I want to feel it as a soul food restaurant and not as a generic diner set for conversations.  I mean, obviously it will still be used as set for conversations, but give it more specific atmosphere.
