All this talk about Sydney makes me wonder if she’s going to get introduced at some point in the future.

I really enjoyed the aftermath of Friday’s amazing episode. Even though I’m not a fan of what’s going to happen with Sami, I enjoyed all of her scenes today. And Sami’s reunion with Roman and Kate was nice too. I like that she doesn’t blame them for Johnny finding out the truth. And I really enjoyed Chanel comforting Johnny. She’s basically that steady hand that he needs in his life right now. But I also wouldn’t mind if the fallout from EJ’s shooting causes problems for the two of them. The drama could be really good. 

And yeah, Rafe’s still a dick. He’s just so insufferable now, which is pretty much the only reason why I’m not a fan of what’s going to happen with Sami. Shawn should’ve punched him in the face. Shawn looked good though. His shirt is something that I would wear.

And he looked hot in Rafe’s dream too 😍😂😂

Finally saw the D3 vs Tate scenes and it was the first time the actor playing D3 seemed to have a pulse, so I enjoyed them.

Finally got to Sami’s arrival as well. Interesting that Belle knew about Johnny’s conception and seemingly everything else EJ has done to her family and doesn’t care.

I'm still not over the total disconnect of the exterior shot of the Dimera mansion and the imaginary placement of the suspects during this mystery.  They actually show us a fully gated property.  And then we're supposed to believe that there were at least 4 people just wondering about at night? And none of them bumped into each other hanging around the tunnels?

I enjoy the murkiness of Belle's motives toward EJ.  Like @Antoyne noted, she is fully aware of his entire history that repulses everyone else in her family.  So, is it really love?  Does she want to fix him after she failed to fix Shawn-D?  Is it to get back at Sami?  Or, does she like feeling pursued after doubting Shawn's loyalty toward her? I might be reading too much into it, but I like that we can feel their chemistry, even if we can’t fully trust their motives. That uncertainty keeps things interesting.

On a more practical note: Paulina’s costuming needs attention. The large necklaces, seemingly meant to cover her cleavage, are distracting. Whether intentional or not, they don’t flatter her. She looks strong and energetic—her wardrobe should reflect that.

I’d like to see at least one new flashback per episode. The constant repetition of scenes we’ve already seen doesn’t help move the mystery forward. We understand that everyone had access to a gun, and only Roman and Jada stored theirs properly. Time to move on.

As for Sami—she continues to deliver. AS's ability to act so convincingly with someone she has no history with, while her other scene partner is in a fake coma no less, is impressive. It’s a performance worth watching for any *Days* fan.

Their scenes today reminded me of how much I enjoyed Sami/Rafe back in the day, both as a couple and as divorced friends.

But Rafe's been so insufferable these past few years that I really didn't want this to happen 😂

I am LMAO at Rafe having a vision of Shawn Douglas and Jada being together -- a vision that looked like the start of a porn movie.

So in his mind, Rafe's vision is of Shawn working out shirtless and sweaty before Jada even shows up!😂 Is Rafe going a little Javi on us?

BTW, you know it's a fantasy when a middle-aged woman can fly in from Europe, and be ready for a spontaneous snog with an ex, later the same day.

The way people can Salem can switch gears from seeing their ex in a coma, to comforting their children, to reconnecting with their father, and still have the libidinal urges for some tonsil hockey is remarkable.

But, it feels like a bit of a writerly cheat, that three different people commented that Rafe had illogically overreacted to Jada's confession.  But, he held firm for no good reason, until Sami just happened to reappear.  The opportunity feels false, even if I like seeing Rafe with Sami.

They can't. It makes no sense. This is the problem all along when it comes to the rape.  I mean, it's so obvious. Makes no difference that it's DAYS. Women DO NOT fall in love with their rapists. It just does not happen. 

What a fall from grace today was. The style in general, just seemed so different from the last few episodes, which were practically brilliant. 

The Sami/Leo/Javi scenes were just as 🤮🤮🤮 as I thought they were going to be. How dare Sami, the sexual assault victim, hate the guy who sexually assaulted her son, her son in law, her brother, etc. 🖕🖕

And yeah, f*ck Javi. I’m done with him. He was annoying today, both with Sami and Rafe at the beginning and Sami and Leo at the end. Al’s a decent actor, and he’s hot but if Javi’s gonna have no other purpose than to just be Leo’s Ciara Brady, then write him out.

Still on the canvas, so long after Ron’s writing ended. My hatred for him aside, Leo should’ve been the first one cut. He is a nothing character that should not exist.

But I am interested in seeing how Gabi and JJ’s relationship is going to be affected, now that he and Shawn are going to investigate her. That could go in a lot of different directions.
