Bad week for B&B and BtG.

Yes they did.

Bold highest numbers were at their peak on Friday, with Carter giving Forrester back and Poppy telling Luna what a bad seed she was.

BTG had a massive drop in demos. Their highest in the 18-49 demographic was the Thursday award gala, and the lowest was Friday's campy mess breakdown by Ron Carlivati with a 1.9 yikes!!!

Well... I'm seeing it more positively. BTG is still outperforming GH in major groups. That's a Brava for a show that just hit it's first month on air.

IMO having BOLD as a lead in for BTG is  NOT helping it at all

I thought CBS should've given Bold timeslot to BTG.

CBS continues to promote BTG during daytime programming and nighttime.

If the show fails, it's all on MVJ.

Although not posted yet, BTG did improve week-to-week from the above numbers, despite the NCAA preemptions. Y&R and B&B were up, too. GH was up in one demo but flat/down in the other.

I knew the neilsens were a week behind and was wondering about those numbers.

Thanks for the news!

It would have made more sense for it to follow YR and have BOLD after, kind of have YR and BOLD as "Bookends" for it

I disagree that BTG should have been placed behind Y&R. The gap between B&B & Y&R isn't huge, and the net benefit for the network wouldn't be worth the risk of moving a show that's been in the same timeslot for 38 years.

Thanks for the update. It seemed like a given BTG would look better in week 4 because at least 2/3 weeks their Friday numbers were a lot lower. Do you know how week 4 compared to M-W week 3?

I think CBS could still do this.

It would be karma considering a new soap Bold at the time got ATWT timeslot.
