March 9, 20251 yr Member I love that we have a 4th soap. I never thought we would see that again. I, personally, haven't smiled this much about a soap. I will accept these first week numbers, but I need BTG #1.
March 9, 20251 yr Member I know the demo numbers are more important, but I wish BTG had beat GH in total viewers, just for bragging rights. They were so close!

For some of us right now is a kind of a delicious dilemma. We want GH to continue to be on the air. (Which is not to say that we do not have critique because we do.) Then, we also are dying for BTG to succeed & to do it to a large degree. 1 hour ago, skiman12082004 said: I love that we have a 4th soap. I never thought we would see that again. Yes, I should have specified on broadcast television. My intention wasn't to exclude DAYS. Edited March 9, 20251 yr by skiman12082004
March 9, 20251 yr Member The daily breakdown is encouraging. It stayed above 0.20 all week and while it hit a low on Friday, so did the others in the CBS line up. Shame daily total viewers weren't included.

Possibly I am far too appreciative of crumbs. 11 hours ago, Alan said: I know the demo numbers are more important, but I wish BTG had beat GH in total viewers, just for bragging rights. It did beat GH in delayed viewing which I do think is important since they use those Live+3/7 ratings to determine if a show is a success. I also am super pleased with the streaming numbers. I just hope we don't see it drop in upcoming weeks.

Hopefully we're talking more about a drop to maybe 1.7m viewers on average with maybe 0.25/0.35+-ish average in W18-49/W25-52. It could then build from there.

March 9, 20251 yr Member I will assume GH never made it over two million viewers in the time that they stopped giving viewership numbers.

During the week of February 17-21, 2025 General Hospital averaged 2.048 million viewers, which is the first time we got wind of the show's ratings among Total Viewers and we believe the first time since early last year the show had done more than two million viewers. This is shown in the report Toups did, as well as here: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2025/03/daytime-broadcast-ratings-total-viewers-households-february-24-28-2025
