Well, in his defense, so far it's only been this once. It was just him & Kristina & he said: Would Adela want you to stay miserable & angry at Ava all the time, or would she want you to find a space of peace?

So great advice despite using Kristina's pet name.

Kristina was moaning about how Ava doesn't deserve Avery because she is horrible and now poor and can't afford a child.  Plus it's stressing Sonny's heart out.  More than killing Jagger a few months ago?  Unclear.  I can't recall the 10 seconds we got to tie up custody with Sonny, but shouldn't he give Ava some cash if it's 50/50?

It's really a waste of Kate Mansi who is actually capable of so much more.

Ugh, as I said before I really think they hit the jackpot casting Mansi as Kristina.  I have no idea how she is almost less likeable than Natalia at this point.

Only slightly less comical than last summer's rationale of 'T.J. and Molly just had a fight after being together for 25 years, they'll probably break up forever, do you think I should file for custody?' It's awful.

And yes, Mansi is being wasted. I thought KM's Kristina was coming into her own in a strong way last spring despite the albatross of the baby story, gunning for Natalia and Ava, and now she's just unwatchable. It's a shame how she's being squandered and set up for failure, but FV doesn't seem to know any other way with his 'favored' actors.

I don't even know what other choices she could make with her material.  Kate Mansi isn't exactly the most warm actress and the dialogue and story she is given is beyond stale at this point.

But somehow was right?  And TJ has disappeared into a vortex.  Not that I think Kristina should be anywhere near a child at this point, but they really decimated TJ/Molly quite handily.  That's fine because Josh Kelly needs something to do lol.

You are correct.

The show was just already planting the seeds that Molly/TJ were some sort of unstable coupling when Kristina started this idiotic custody journey.   And really going in on TJ not trusting Kristina to be a surrogate which was the right fear.  We will probably never hear from TJ again though so it is what it is.

Yeah they def only broke up because Kristina decided to be an idiot and fall out a window. I’m pretty sure the show though would like us to forget that and believe she was right. They’ve completely discarded TJ after barely even giving him a point of view as the baby’s biological father. Just brilliant writing all around.

The few times I watch these scenes, Mansi comes across as very cold and aggressive. I imagine this is intentional as she is the child who is closest to Sonny and is meant to be similar to him now, but it just makes the character as tiresome as her father.

I think they just assumed they could hire a name from DAYS and give her anything, without caring about how fans would feel - and not just Lexi fans, but fans in general.
