The logo in the show is blue, but that is the P&G Studios logo being used now. At first when I saw it on a smaller screen I was hoping it was a lighthouse in reference to Guiding Light, but nope, alas it is just a candle.

No, it used to be PGP for Procter & Gamble Productions & then they segued to TeleVest. Anything with P&G Studio/s is automatically new.

It’s a new graphic. A more colorized version of this graphic was flashed at the end of the episode. The candle could be a GL reference, but I can’t confirm that.

EXACTLY! It's giving SOAP with characters, not plot points to appease audiences.

They are multiple dimensions at play because Dani isn’t presented as totally sympathetic either. She’s a bad mother (regarding Chelsea) and is totally delusional about the state of her marriage before Haley entered the picture.

I'll be interested to see it play out. One of the reviews I read said, "You'll be dying to find out what happens on Monday." But, reviewers only got to see the first 5 episodes, so they clearly won't know for sure. I'm still trying to figure out who might even be the intended target and will be all week! I mean, one character, is obvious, but it could always be something out of the blue. 

I'll have my popcorn and my glass of champagne (classy) on Friday at 2pm to find out!

But that's also realistic: we've seen mothers project their own delusioned wishes regarding their youth onto their children, and their rose-coloured perceptions of their own marriage.
