I agree with @dragonflies. I thought TN did a great job. From the bits of shade I saw on the BTG Thread, I was worried. I thought he did great as Tortured Finn for the Friday cliffhanger last week, but TN and JMW were superb on Monday's episode. In fact, they were my highlight as Finn told her that Luna is his daughter. There was a build to that moment in terms of plot, pacing, and even within the episode. I didn't feel he was just stuttering through it at all. Finn clearly could not find the words to tell her. And the writing and acting build up to him finding them beautifully. If I had to nit-pick, I would say I would have loved to see one tear fall from his eye, but TN at least got to pure teary-eyed which some can't even do. I loved it. He was acting. And I felt that. 

 

Speaking of Steffy, I loved watching her connecting the dots in Monday's episode. And even when she would get soooo close to full revelation, she would not get it. JMW did good. And of course, she realized it and had to go all Steffy about it. lol. Soapy silliness, but I still liked it.

 

Ooooo look at Sheila vs Poppy. Not the sister I would like Sheila to square up against, but I liked those scenes. And it felt like foreshadowing because given Sheila wanting to be close to Finn, knowing she wants to be close to a grandchild is screaming that she and Luna will bond. Potential mess for Finn and Steffy. 

 

And...Luna and Remy. Well uh hmmmmm. I think Luna was being a little too glib with Remy knowing that he knows. And Remy being fascinated with a murderer is...on brand I guess.

 

Daphne/Carter and Ridge/Taylee total C plot over these few episodes. And I prefer Daphne's attempt to make inroads with Carter over Ridge/Taylee.

I wish people would give him a chance, cause he does deliver! Also even the strongest actors can have weak moments too. I know on this very board people would talk about Erika Slezak and saying she had weak moments like when she cried or she was OTT too often etc. 

After the coma story in 2022 TN was on fire and during this story he's been amazing.  SoapHub also named him Performer of the month too for February

Wait! Someone came for Erika Slezak?

 

But seriously...YW. TN has errs and flows like any actor. And I remember him being great, too, during the coma story. But I've always said here that I prefer seeing an actor who tries and be terrible vs an actor who everyone knows is good...phoning it in. And TN ain't phoning it nor has he been terrible. 

 

Or perhaps I'm just starved for some good potential organically fresh drama for Sinn.

It can be. But I'm hoping since it's Finn's child, they might take Sinn drama in a new direction. So far, I do like Steffy is a lot more tolerant about it than she was with Sheila. But I know how the writing on this show can be. But hoping.

I'll probably eat my words, but I believe they'll make it through this. LY basically said they're redeeming Luna(I think she'll just be manipulative not evil from now on)

Same. Especially after that lame Liam scene last week. I was like rme. I was happy to see her anxiety aside, Steffy STOOD...BY...HER...MAN.

I rolled my eyes when Ridge said Steffy isn't the type to run. Uh dude she was literally running away when she saw Luna kissing Bill then got drugged and nearly died lol

See? That was a good week. I would say 2nd to BTG actually of what I've been catching up on.

 

Not Deacon vs Sheila and it's played serious. Not silly, happy, or boring at all. It was nice to have a moment with them.

 

Wow...the Luna storyline has really gotten moving as the A plot. I loved Finn taking charge. And he went to that prison with a mission. I guess he got through to the warden for him to get Bill's address. And the Thursday cliffhanger was neat.   Meanwhile, we got Steffy doing the gradual revealing of Luna as Finn's daugther to Taylee. I even like the Remy/Luna scenes. Side note...that actor is not my type and I keep finding him cute. 

 

And ooops. The Operation Carter storyline has started to move. Good to see Daphne finally making moves. And that kiss on Carter that Hope saw was scandalous. 

 

Good to see some movements in storyline. Kinda ironic that it's going on the same week as BTG's starting. Or is it? hmmm.
