Arnold has got to go! I'm going to start forwarding his scenes in the new year. One awful Rafe is enough.

Yes, Doug looked adorable today.😍😂😁😊

That pose on the couch by Tate is what got him in trouble. You'd think he'd learned his lesson.😂 He did look tasty though.😂😍😉

He's a dummy, just like his father 😂😂

I don't think the writers wrote that and I don't need Jada dealing with Shawn and Belle problems I think Jada's character has bigger things to worry about I expect it will be Jada getting pregnant not knowing if the baby is for Fake Rafe or Real Rafe

Idk, I was hoping they'd be done with all that rape stuff

Idk about this part of the storyline though. I don’t dislike it, but it just seems so dated and unnecessary. There are so many other ways they could have caused conflict with the younger crowd until the inevitable pregnancy happened. Not only would have been better than this but also would have seemed more current.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think all Tate needed to do was to tell Amy to go f*ck herself, and then take Sophia to get the abortion anyway. 😂

The story is stupid and a repeat of a story we have seen 1000 times on soaps.

My biggest issue is how spineless Tate is.  It doesn't fit the character or his upbringing and it's not attractive.  Why would Amy even want to marry her daughter off to Tate and his family?  Sophia may think she wants Tate now, but she'd be bored in 10 mins.

I agree that it's the wrong choice, but at the same time, I'm glad that they're not making Tate out to be the perfect young hero.

Well, Tate is certainly not that! I'm not entirely sure what he is, but I am quite sure that he's nobody's hero. On DAYS we have seen that kind of hero. And, Tate is no Bo! Nor is he a Real Roman. Also not a Forrest Alamain aka John Black!

That's true.  I hate when characters just let things happen to them.   He looked more resigned than anything.  His father is Brady so I get that, but it's very Austin from the 90's.  Tate is just doing what he is told and not yet looking for other options.  Maybe it will unfold differently.

It is hard to interpret the line between Amy Choi being a “Tiger Mom” as stereotypical and offensive, or just stereotypical and expected.

For example, as a Jewish man if DAYS introduced a mother of a Jewish character who was overprotective, I would feel like it was expected.  But, if she was loud, and had a heavy New York accent, I would be mildly offended.

The first option is just lazy and ill-informed, the second option being intentionally derogatory.

I guess I'll wait and see…

I feel like it's pretty stereotypical at this point.  Every Asian character on Days seems to come from a similar parental background like this.  Although Amy seems modern in dress and style and doesn't seem like she's outdated in the usual aspects it feels very standard.  Also, Sophia looks half white or of mixed descent to me (as I believe Madelyn Kientz is) so I wonder who Days will cast as her father.

🙄Uhhh ... I thought it was totally lame. LOL! If Brady wants to give Marlena jewelry, good grief, he should reach into some serious funds & get something brand new & classy!!

That locket, absolutely should be kept until Rachel is a bit older & then she should have it.

Anyway, that's my opinion.

I thought it was deeply moving.  It shows that Brady sees Marlena as his mom, too.
It brought me to tears.  He gave her something that was special to him.

Well, we know that Brady considers her to be a mother figure. It's apparent & then there's evidence & he & Eric have discussed the blended family several times. Marlena & Isabella, if you ask me, had a really awkward relationship since they both loved John at an overlapping time.
