I'd be all for Jax and Lois at this point too. I don't think it's that weird after so long, and he did come on the show with an eye for her. But without Ingo, again I don't necessarily see a point in having him here. Having a strong and interesting love interest for Rena is the only compelling reason I can think of to have a recast Jax, actually lol

It makes sense.  Again, I am not asking for a Jax recast, but Lois was the first woman in PC to catch his eye and it would work if they found someone with good chemistry with Rena.  And I assume it wouldn't be terribly hard to find someone that has chemistry with Rena.

It would give Lois some viable tension with Carly and Sonny and something to do.  It's just a thought, but they need to give Rena something to do and hire her a love interest stat.

No. This is classic cheapo FV thinking. Put any two cheap non-contract players over 30 together. It's what put Kevin and Laura together, because JL was a vet and off-contract. It's what put Robert and Diane together. Lucy and Martin. Scott and Obrecht. Many others.

Rena Sofer is a brilliant actress who they were insanely lucky to get back who deserves a contract and an actual storyline. Not GH's constant Wal-Mart method of storytelling: Slap any two randos together and call them a couple or a storyline. INVEST.

I agree that GH needs to give Lois a story but would Rena want a contract or is she happy recurring.

 

As for Martin & Lois. I think MEK & Rena would be good together IF GH wrote for them.

I remember the sorry-ass excuse Frank gave Rena for not providing a long-term contract. It was bull. Rena should be on contract and having a storyline beyond Gio/Violet/changing her damn accent for TV appearances we don't even see.

I don't. I'm tired of randos being slapped together for budget.

I can't even imagine Lois/Martin together.  Just because they are two popular soap actors from the 90's doesn't mean they should be paired together.  What on earth would they even have in common?  Lois has more in common with Jason lol. 

Maybe they should track down Rick Telles. Justice for Rocky/Rio.

It'll never happen but I recently had the thought Lois and Frisco would be interesting.

I have a hard time picturing Lois with anyone currently on canvas not named Ned.  Since that's not possible the show needs to hire.  At least we were spared Sonny/Lois.  When Rena first returned I was a little worried about some of the vibes the Sonny/Lois scenes were giving off.

This show will pair up anyone (preferably on recurring) to avoid hiring new people they don't want, while keeping played-out characters or hiring randos from any other soap. Then GH pleads poverty and we're expected to get behind any half-ass budget pairing. It's a vicious cycle.

Yup.  That's why I have a hard time buying anything GH or FV are selling us.  I keep hearing Disney/ABC/whoever wants a huge cast, but main characters are dropping like flies.  Of course, Michael and Sam aren't great examples of characters I'd keep, but I'd keep them both before I'd waste money on ELR, MEK, Cyrus, Brennen or keep around other various dead weight characters.

That is why I am upset Jagger Cates is dead. I could have seen Jagger and Lois.

Too Bad Ted King isnt at GH. They could revisit Lois and Alcazar
