I see only  "img_1_172860475534_85.jpg"

I realize you must be referring to Van Hansis on The Locher Room Oct. 16

This is off-topic, sort of, but it's reel/real soap relevant,
and the timing is interesting.

October 3rd GH episode, the fictional character Marshall Ashford tells Curtis that he has an opportunity to go on tour with jazz great Wynton Marsalis.  Actor Robert Gossett has exited GH for the time being but could return later.

Wynton Marsalis' real life music biography:

The next morning, October 4th, in real life, Victoria Rowell posted a throwback picture
of herself with her ex-partner Wynton Marsalis
and their baby or toddler son Jasper Marsalis.
Jasper Marsalis is now a music producer.
He also performs with the stage name " Slauson Malone 1 ".

So did Ms. Rowell coincidentally post that pic of Wynton on the morning of Oct. 4?
Or is she following GH and noticed that Wynton was mentioned Oct. 3?

Van was exaggerating, I think he did have more scenes with Muara West today that he did during his entire time on ATWT😂

Cody and Brad have more chemistry than most of the actual couples on this show. If GH was smart, they'd make him gay or bi and give us a Cody/Lucas/Brad triangle.

Portia is annoying me.

Lovely to see more Liz.

A shame Mulcahey isn't around to write any of this stuff with Lucky; he would have given it depth. The new writers attempts at character are so thin and shallow. All the characters have suffered and regressed with Mulcahey's departure.

Sonny is looking more stupid now than ever. Maybe Maurice doesn't have much power behind the scenes after all, if he can't do anything to change this crap they are having him play.

Probably the character most affected is Jason. Any buzz from his return is long gone. What's his point now? Is it building to anything? You wonder if this will be Lucky's fate too in a couple of months, a return that's fizzled.

The show just feels so stupid, contrived, and repetitive.

I don't really think Mulcahey would have made a difference here. He was there when Jason returned and any depth in that story ended in about two weeks. The material for Laura was also mostly poor during that time, and made the character look bad, going on about Heather and giving her chances even as she tells her son to stay in jail.

The material with Sonny was just more of the usual posturing about what a danger he was while making sure he had an escape clause. I don't think it was much better than what he has now, it's just Maurice can enjoy himself more now because he can play mobster and has a hot new love interest who exists solely for Sonny.

The failures with Lucky have been there for a long time, including with a writer so many now seem to dearly miss (Guza). I think he's just a character who was best left to the past. At best we'd get another sorrowful speech that we already saw twenty versions of in 1998.

Brad and Tracy can fight over him.

I’ve never rated Van Hansis as an actor, and I still think he plays everything the same damn monotone way. I’m just not a fan, sorry.

So they’re never going to explain why Michael E. Knight dropped that cringy accent? Ha

I have theories and it's the same one for as to why Rena Sofer was made to drop Lois' accent.

Van got very lucky with the time he joined ATWT, when there was a very vocal calling for more gay characters, especially young gay characters who would stay around instead of being a guest star on a sitcom. He was also believable as the son of the ever-hysterical Martha Byrne. People seemed to be tired of him after a few years on ATWT and he moved into other realms post-Luke. I don't think Lucas will be on for long but I imagine if he stays the same fatigue will happen here.

I tend to wonder if both actors wanted to drop them.

I feel like it's border-lining on ABC citing "cultural appropriation" etc.

I could see that, although Olivia still has her accent, doesn't she? (maybe that's just her real accent...)
