I believe @jasonminer1974 is inferring if she had just played along with the JaSam reunion during SB’s last return instead of making her preference for working with Billy Miller blatantly clear on screen and off she wouldn’t be in this current situation.

Well, of course, I'm not totally sure because it could have been aid or assistance with more than one thing. I'm pretty sure that first up was something personal but then, probably next up would have been easing her back into a more active role dramatically. It's not really unusual for a humongous company to offer to help an employee they perceive as being in trouble. They'd much rather help than "terminate".

John, I think your premise is unsound. I do not think there is a chance of that offer being made. To me, it is inevitable. But, I mean, wholly as some theoretical, EVEN THOUGH IT's JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, but, sure, hell, if they made such an offer, she'd be crazy not to! This is moot, though, buddy, so, ... there you have it. 

At least when Lindsay Hartley replaces her, there's a little "passion" in her performance...   Why would anyone offer Monaco a reprieve? Her performances have proverbially "made her bed".  Had she put an iota into her performances instead of sleepwalking, this whole thread wouldn't exist. She didn't make the effort, so..

ITA. She's not being "saved" at this point.

I guess they could rewrite the ending and make Sam’s “death” ambiguous to leave the door open. But if they do that, they might as well hire LH permanently in the role as it’s clear there’s an issue with KM.
