I think it's safe to say that we all agree:

1) Taylor's character was ruined in the mid-1990s. Sleeping with James + then the illogical Taylor in the Morocco storyline. Brad was aware because he used Phyllis Diller's character to echo the insanity of it all.

2) HT will always be Taylor.

The funny thing is that if HT came back as Taylor and just started acting like the original Taylor, all of us would buy it. Forget shooting $B, buying a stolen baby, flirting with Brooke, etc. I'm glad I was unaware of that disgusting scene with Taylor on her knees. C'mon that's way out of bounds. The real Taylor would've accepted responsibility for her acting, not beg her nemesis for mercy. I'd have quit too.

The on her knees stuff STILL pisses me off, and people want HT to return to that? Cause that's what Thudley would write for her

Yep, she stayed for only 2 months after this scene aired. It was ROCK bottom and very offensive to the character and her fan base. 

Count me in as another one who was unaware of that begging scene. Atrocious.

Yep. And what lead to it was as if not even more atrocious. Disgrace to Hunter Tylo that that were the last moments she was on the show. 

BTW is it me or when HT was still in the role they would never let her share any scenes with new ridge? They didn’t play up their potential romantic chemistry, whereas with the new Taylor’s it’s always a Tridge redux.

Not just you, I recall that.  Many episodes passed, I remember thinking when are Hunter and Thorsten going to share scenes??  Being a Tridge fan, I was curious if Tridge 2.0 would have spark.  They finally had some brief scenes.  But for a while I started to wonder if there was animosity between the two.

Now that I've seen it for myself...Uhhhhh...it couldn't be Krista Allen...who they took great cares with to reintroduce her as the recasted Taylor?

 

This...just looks like mess.

 

On the other hand, I guess that means Violet's mama is never picking her up. At least not this year.

I think I remember Thorsten commenting on it too, how he'd have loved to work with Hunter

But I mean they were brief scenes about their children, they were not supposed to rekindle their romance or anything. They never played that card with Hunter. Weird.

When I was watching they shared very brief scenes... nothing substantial, though.

At the end it felt like the show had some personal vendetta against Hunter. It really did to me. They wrote her into a corner... and humiliated her character.
